Good old fashioned advertising

This would turn me vegetarian

Lysol did untold damage over the years. Like washing with watery acid.

I include this even if I feel it's in a different category. For me it harks back to a time when people had good values.

My dad used to wear white Hathaway shirts. I remember the ads with the guy that looked like a pirate. I found some for sale a few years ago and got them for my husband. Do they still make them? Are they still as nice?

Creepy!

Bettie Page.... she broke down a lot of barriers, and was pretty cute while doing so!

Yes...may she rest in peace. Bettie had a love affair with the camera, and we were privileged to share..

And also a love affair with the hairbrush it seems as well.

She held herself well and the "stars" of today could learn a lot from her.

It looks like that guy has lost one eye already playing with that baby tiger.

I wouldn't mind giving that housewife a good spanking too.

There is a certain honesty in those old adds even though they may be misguided extreme examples.

PC forces us to resist saying what we really think.
To me that smacks of deceit.
