So...what is a 1928 Bentley 4.5l roadster worth in excellent condition?
Just curious.
Saw one yesterday and talked with owner a bit. He says it's the model the LeMans winning Bentleys of the day were based on? It was immaculate. Definitely too nice to be where he had it---in the crowded parking lot of a shopping plaza to watch the town fireworks. He says it's shockingly fast. 4.5 liter 4 cylinder engine. Though I am of questionable stock (leaning P.W.T.), I retained the sense to not mouthbreath too much around his automobile and also refrained from inquiring what such a specimen might be worth. So..what is a 1928 Bentley 4.5l roadster going for these days?

405K for this style. sure it wasn't a replica? there was a company in australia that was making quasi-accurate replicas...
