12 Helicopters over Micheal Jacksons Grave Site

Yep, 12 maybe more hovering over Forest Lawn Cemetary. I hope two of them run into each other. In today's age of technology, can't they pool and use one feed?

Think how much it costs to run 12 helicopters: pilots, cameramen, fuel, running time cost, etc etc...

now think how else that money could be spent, perhaps doing some good.

The radio heads are saying this will cost the city of El Aye about $4 million. Add in the CA Highway Patrol, City of Burbank and others. Speaking of TV, lots of lost advertising revenue for local and national TV/Radio.

He's not dead. He's just moving back to his home world after getting the run around from Zed.

Consider it "economic stimulus".

There's big money in death. Talk to any mortician.

sammyg2 07-07-2009 10:47 AM

I'm bummed out by the fact that there are sooo many ards out there who are gobbling this crap up.
It's like when that blond bimbo what's her face died only worse.

Jesus christ.. I get a break last night... turn on the TV and there's frickin Huda Koba or whatever her name is from NBC on dateline doing a show on MJ. So I shut that **** off and went to sleep.

Now I just got home today, turn the TV on and what do you know... they are still talking about MJ.

fingpilot 07-07-2009 01:32 PM

Well, he IS still dead. That ought to do for 3 or 4 more days.

Just heard the TV squawk about a 'live feed from the cemetary!!!'....

MJ is goin be popin up from the grave to do Thriller...just you wait..

In another week this will all be just another (bad) memory. Like Diana once the grave gets cold it life carries on and we will hear less and less of MJ. One might expect ot start to hear about sightings of MJs resurrection from the grave ala Elvis...

Those helicopters? They cost dollars per hour. The sum includes fuel and maintenance. The cost of the crew is variable, but figure $105 per flight hour. You'll have to pay his medical as well, along with life insureance....

The sum total for a turbine-powered Bell 407 helicopter flied these days? I suspect it is around $700 per hour. That is what all the radio and TV stations are paying for the helicopters hovering around the various house fires and high-speed chases.

For once, I agree with you. I'm sick of hearing about this!

-How the hell did they manage to keep the smell down? The guy died June 25. It is now July 7. Did they pickle him twice?

[QUOTE=tabs;4764379]Like Diana once the grave gets cold it life carries on and we will hear less and less of MJ. /QUOTE]Interesting noting Diana. It still goes on. But for the first year or so, there were an awful lot of tributes and some awful at that.

When do the MJ porcelains hit the market?

Chief Bratton managed to get the FAA to make a temporary no-fly zone over the Staples Center, (below 2500' for a couple square miles), which was smart. You can imagine the bad PR he would get if a couple crashed into each other and landed flaming on the crowd.

The cemetary did not present that problem. Hell, if luck prevailed they would just land next to a freshly-dug hole. No muss, no fuss. .

You clowns think this is bad? Most of my training rides go past Forest Lawn where MJ is to be buried. It's been a media circus there since the coroner sewed him up and showed his body the door.

The mopey fans are everywhere, and the press is "pressed in" like sardines.

Some of those satellites the news crews use look like they could beam M.J.'s burial to Mars.
