Starbucks ve other fast food places?

Do you find the people who work in Starbucks or other similar coffer houses much more plesent to deal with then dummies at Macdonalds or Burger King or etc.. in the same neighborhood?

Sbucks employees seem to have lower levels of apathy and disdain.

For some reason, the folks who work at Fourbucks tend to be a lot older than the teenagers at the fast food joints. I'm just happy when I get an English speaker. The local In-N-Out Burger is staffed only with teenagers, but I find them to be the nicest bunch of kids I've seen anywhere. And I generally dislike everyone. I like that crew though.

Yep. In-N-Out staff in my town is unfailingly friendly and efficient. Not so with McD's.

Starbucks workers are stoners.

Peets workers are cheerful stoners.

I think there's one English speaker at my local McDonald's, and he's the octogenarian that perpetually sweeps the floors. Of course, he only talks to the trash cans, but at least it's English.

Alot of the stores help really depends on who owns the franchise. The local Mcds is pretty good but the family that owns it keeps a really close eye on the store.

very friendly and seemingly intelligent crew of young men at the 5 guys burgers i stopped at on july 4th.
they knew the local area and even directed me to an ethanol free gas station, which was sad to say, closed on the 4th of july.
by the way, excellent burger and fries.

I like my In-N-Out too. Oh, and the burgers also. Nice to get someone who speaks the same language as you in the fast food joints around here.

Some of there kids have to travel so far just to work in a crap hole of afast food joint. They may not know the local area. sad, really.

My local McD's, no one speaks Ingles.

I you have an order that's different from just pointing to a picture, like 'no onions', your only options are to take off the onions yourself, or just leave.

I left, never to return.
