PERRY TOWNSHIP, OH (WOIO) - Perry Township Police Chief Timothy Escola resigned this week after a tipster called and said the Chief was having sexy time in his police cruiser with a part-time police officer.

Upon checking police cruiser dash cam, investigators found evidence they needed against the Chief and the part-time employee who were engaging in romantic exchanges while transporting a prisoner!

The resignation of Perry Township Police Chief Timothy Escola was accepted Tuesday night by trustees.

Escola had been Chief of Police for four-years before submitting his resignation.

Law Director Charles Hall launched an investigation that required looking at police cruiser video tape.

The tape shows Escola and a part-time female police officer, Janine England, snuggling and kissing while driving around in the cruiser.

Escola is married with three children.

No word on who will step us as acting Chief at this time.

Check back for details.

3-way, FTW!

(or they were making the poor bastard watch)

For the record, a "Darwin Award" is awarded (posthumously) when you take yourself out of the gene pool.

This is not darwin-worthy.

A Darwin award is when you do something stupid that withdraws you from the gene pool. (Usually by killing yourself, but sometimes by maiming your genitals.)

Nope, this guy was clearly expanding his share of the gene pool.

On a different topic, is Action News 19 a proper news source? Or more like a tabloid? I ask because the grammar and writing style is piss poor. Is this what passes for journalism? Could you imagine if the Wall St. Journal published an article that included the phrase "sexy time"?

I laughed out loud when I read "sexy time", and I think I will start to use that expression (hopefully) frequently!

I saw a pretty good episode of COPS one time from Spokane WA. Deputy tries to chase a 4x4 offroad through brush and trees. He chases for a few minutes then the car comes to a halt after he busted the oil pan. The car is surrounded by dry field grass of course so it starts that on fire. The Cops wussy little 1lb. fire extinguisher is useless so the whole car catches of fire. Eventually the FD got there to stop the brush fire. He had no chance of catching that guy.

I saw one where a cop's cruiser got hit by a train. That was priceless.
