tobacco lovers, have you ever snorted the stuff up your nose?
i work with miners. these guys cant smoke in the tunnel, so they get their fix sniffing some super fine tobacco up their nose. insane. i have bad enough sinuses without such an irritant going up there. anyone ever try snuff? this cannot be good for you...worse than smoking?

I did when I was a kid. I didn't see the difference between it and pepper.

I tried this too when I was a kid. I could not imagine why grown ups would do such a thing.
Cigars, pipes and chewing tobacco are the only forms of nicotine consumption that I could ever imagine. There is no upside to nicotine consumption, however, so I never bothered to form any habits ... George |
Let me guess....lighting a match in a coal mine could be bad for your health

not a coal mine...a tunnel for future traffic..still, same concept. flames are bad. |
:oYes:o
I tried it years ago in an attempt to give up cigarettes. I still use it when I have a cold and a blocked up nose. When I stocked up it was available in fun flavours:D. I'm still working my way through what I have. |
I tried it in high school. May as well snort dirt up your nose. Yech!!! My tabacco of choice was chewing tobacco. (Kodiak) I did that for 20 years and then decided to quit. Been tobacco free since 2000.

I never have, but as a child, I met some "old timers" while visiting with family in Scotland who carried a snuff box. They would take a pinch, and sniff some up each nostril.
Imagine my surprise years later when I saw an old woman take a teaspoon of Tube Rose snuff, and put it in her front, lower lip. All that time, I thought it went up one's nose. |
Never tried the snorting thing but I have drank butt sludge from a beer bottle, it's terrible

The teacher asked his class, "Who knows what shape the Earth is?"
The students were all dumbfounded. The teacher said, "I'll give you a clue. It's the same shape as my snuff box." A young boy raised his hand, and said, "I know Sir! It's round on week days, and square on Sundays!" |
