I remember being a young kid 40 yrs ago and listening to WC pronounce the landing of Eagle One!
I ran outside and peered up at the full moon 7pm PST to try and see if I could see the Landing! Have to say…this one event 40 yrs ago started me down the sciences path where I make my living now!

Same here. Was in London, a 15 year old kid touring Europe on a bike. Watched them walk around the moon on a television in Pickadilly, and was a turning point in my life.
