GearWrench brand tools?
Are they decent or just taiwanese garbage? I just picked up this 16 pc ratcheting wrench set for $30 at a NAPA tent sale.
$2/wrench seems pretty good even if they don't last too long, but I'm wondering if I should pick up another couple of sets for friends and family. Thanks,

I've got a similar set in both SAE and metric. They work fine for the purpose they were made for.

I've been using the standard length set for about a year now, just about every day. Just try not to break any bolts, or nuts loose with them. They aren't designed for that.Sometimes they are a lifesaver in tight places. The swivel headed ones are great to have too.

Thanks for the info.
John, do you warranty them locally, or do you have to send them in?

I've had this set of stubbies for almost 8 years now and it's still going strong.
![]() I bought them off of my local Snap-On dealer, they're definitely not Chinese garbage.
