My new Ride

Well I finally broke down and got a BMW. It's a new brand for me, but one I've been thinking about for awhile. '95 325, s52 M motor, 5spd. lowered, full M interior. It was a blast to drive back home; plenty of power at 75MPH to pass without shifting, great mileage, 27MPG, and a sweet sound. Don"t fret, I've still got a old 914 tucked away for the future that needs work, but this is going to be my DD. I'l let you know how it compares to the old 911. Flame on.

Looks nice. Where does the checkered flag pattern in the hood reflection come from?

It's a decal, very light, in dark gray.

Looks nice. The M3s are sweet (basically what that one is now?). Enjoy.

They had factory lightweight cars that came with that decal. I like the "ghost" effect with yours.

Nice car. You won't be disappointed. Wayne Dempsey wrote a book for these as well. You should pick it up.

Thanks guys. Look at the front plate; read it backwards, my daughter had to tell me what it said. Kind of fun.

Prepare for the slippery slope. Its no different with beemers! you can start on the front bumper by adding the brake cooling ducts and fogs that the Ms have..!

nice ride!

Yeah, like the other guys said - a really nice looking car.

I'm no expert on BMWs (but a close mate is and he loves them) but the usual story, don't thrash 'em when they're are cold and do lots of oil changes.
