Is this a 911?
Putting gas in my camper in Healdsburg Ca. when I glanced at the pump and had to do a double take. This looks a lot like a 911 with the gas filler in the wrong place. Nice to know they sell beer for the road too.

I've seen that too. It makes me chuckle every time.
|
So did you go in and get some beer?
|
Yes, that's definitely a 911. Weird, the bumpers look like a bellows bumper car, but it looks like they're putting gas in the oil tank of a '72, and for some reason, the oil tank is on the wrong side of the car. I'm so confused!

They have that at a lot of Sunoco stations on the east coast.

I laughed at that too when I filled up at a Sunoco when visiting family in the east. Putting gas into that area of a 911 is sure to cause a fire. :D

it's a 1972 ... w/ update mod's
..and the graphic has nothing to do with the SCWDP  |
Impact bumper (platypus) car with the uber-rare M-wtf factory option.
|
..and snow tires
...oh wait. That is just the stock look of an irrrrrlleee 911  |
There is a billboard with an ad for a Kia dealership around here where they have a little picture of a cartoon convertible car and they stick the face of a new person who bought a kia on the sign once every few months.
For one... I don't think Kia makes any convertibles. And two- the car is clearly a cartoonized clipart version of a 996 cab... :-) |
