Neat story about a lady that knows how to take care of her car.

i posted a link to this fascinating story a few days ago, got over one hundred views and not one single response, i see sixty nine views on your post with nary a response yet. i don't get it.
i thought it was one of the best stories i had seen in quite a while. i have been talking about it for days now.
go figure.

I didn't mean to re-post. I didn't see it before. Sorry.

I think it is a really cool story too. She had the lube areas on a map she shows the guys before they work on here car. I think we all could learn something from her.

not to worry, i was just pointing out how little interest such a terrific [to me anyway] story could go unremarked.
i thought maybe it was me, i.e. halitosis or b.o.

That a cute story. I love her free parts scheme.

That is cool. I think I need to start buying lifetime guaranteed parts for my '87.

GG Allin 07-22-2009 06:16 PM

Good thing she's got all the records. That car would be a b!tch to sell without them.

gt350mike 07-22-2009 06:22 PM

16 free batteries, 7 mufflers, and 3 sets of shocks............I guess that is why you don't see Lifetime warranties anymore!!!

ramonesfreak 07-22-2009 06:43 PM

that was awsome

onewhippedpuppy 07-22-2009 07:27 PM

That's a great story. What a cool lady.

VINMAN 07-22-2009 08:04 PM

Very cool!!

Hebrewhomeboy 07-22-2009 08:11 PM

Wow. That's a pretty awesome video, and it's always nice to see someone taking care of a car like that.

kycarguy 935 07-22-2009 08:26 PM

You never really hear about many cars of that vintage going over 200k miles without some sort of rebuild.

cstreit 07-23-2009 07:30 AM

They don't make them like that any more!

I'd already seen it via email when you posted...sorry I didn't comment. Yep...a fun story!

Great story. Many cars are capable of 300,000+ miles if owners would just maintain them the way she has, it really does cost less in the long run. Of course, some people just have to have the latest model

If *everyone* followed her example, the car companies would go out of biz from lack of sales.
