Sounds like a fair trade off to me, more than fair actually.

No, I don't think my wifey has ever seen Pelican.

juanbenae 07-23-2009 06:11 AM

livi 07-23-2009 06:34 AM

Disaster! Who will now be our guide at the annual Pelican Playboy Mansion weekend?

:D

Gogar 07-23-2009 06:40 AM

I think bigchillcar's lady knew about Pelican.

"Who is bigchillcar?" you ask.

Well, there you go.

UconnTim97 07-23-2009 06:50 AM

My wife keeps talking about joining up, so I imagine that it is inevitable.

Wife sometimes lurks over shoulder, sees cars, girls, whatever, moves on. She has a life.

If i had a spouse the link to pelican would be buried deeper than my most kinky and deviant pr0n... ;)

Burnin' oil 07-23-2009 09:19 AM

My wife doesn't even know what the internet is.

Laneco 07-23-2009 06:34 PM

OKay, I'm a big time lurker.... :p

Steve doesn't mind and frequently employs my high speed typing skills if he has a long post to do (120 wpm or so).

The most recent news (e.g. earthquakes, etc) is always on Pelican. A great deal of diverse knowledge - got a question about an obscure topic? Ask here.

Also, I must say that reading the posts on this site is an interesting view into the male psyche. Interesting and well, sometimes a little dark and scary...

Like the recent post where a Pelican fellow admitted to to an accident of a most personal nature that involved him dropping trou in the front yard while the cat stared at him - not once but TWICE? Seriously, if I see this guy at a Porsche get together I am going to just bust out laughing! You guys do realize that women read what you post, don't you? And we NEVER forget anything you say - LOL!

+1.

A woman who would do otherwise is almost certainly not one I would have married.

bivenator 07-23-2009 06:40 PM

Is her screen name mstrekkor?

red-beard 07-23-2009 07:13 PM

I do want to see "Mrs.Notfarnow" log on sometime, since she's referred to that way...
