The Mechanism Of How Events Transpire

Nuance is everything, for the choich of one word can tip the balance scale of events ever so slightly. That is how finely tuned the universe is. The Grand Canyon all started with one drop of water.

It is the awareness of being able to chose that one word in a sentence that effects the efficacy of your words on your audience. It is one word that can tip the scales to unleash the culmative effect of the Grand Canyon. One pebble can create an avalanch, that is ultimately how history is made.

It is paying attention to the micro that one can effect the macro. Call it a chain reaction.

Now here is a thught for you to ponder a bit..If we could know the effect of one pebble upon another in that chain reaction of human events we could predict the future. What we can know are how one historical event effected another and come to a conclusion about the probable outcome of events in the future. In other words in which direction the chain reaction of events is moving and its probable outcome based upon historical precedence.

Now if I could just figure out the affect of those 6 Billion people on each other and its effect on events I wouldn't need a crystal ball now would I?

The one thing I can predict is that people are unpredictable.

Its not what you say, but what people hear.

Randomnest will skew your predictions.

Bill Douglas 07-24-2009 11:33 PM

I think it's one word followed by a popular movement.

tabs 07-25-2009 08:37 AM

Yeah Red exactly what did you say.

I have long known and practiced that the choich of one word in a sentence can alter the affect on the reader.

island911 07-25-2009 08:39 AM

aka; The butterfly effect.

Choich? Isn't that what they call a place of worship in New Jersey?

I decided to remove it this morning. He has issues. It's not really my place to point them out.

Is this still a free country...are you one of those fascist,PC police, Luberals. I am standing on my 1st amendment rights to spell the word "choich" any gddam way I want. I am claiming that it is freedom of expression and artistic privilege to spell it as "CHOICH"

Red-beard, I'd like to take this moment to tell you that you're officially an a**hole in my book.
My wife and I were together for ten years, married for five. Although I'm the idiot that filed for divorce, it's not what I wanted. In February my wife begged me to let her stay, and I was going to. But due to misinformation I made her leave.
Ten years is better than a quarter of my life that were were together, and she's a very special woman. Without her, I would not be who I am. She pulled me out of the gutter, and she's the only person in my life evrer to do anything meaningful for me.

You sound much like the guy telling me to "get over it" while trying get with her before the divorce was even filed for!

Go through what I've been through int he last year. Then you can say that to me. Till then, piss off.

Dear Red there is nothing that modern shrinkdome can do for me that has not been done. You forget that I have had 2 friends that have been in the biz for a long long time. One who is now passed was the co/founder of the Fuller Seminary Graduate School of Shrinkdome and the second is a prof and PhD candidate advisor in shrinkdome for a university in SO CA. The latter has told me as he laughed to tell you all that he said , "Tabbsy you are one twisted mutherfker." I said, "Thank You, everything that I am, I owe to you Doc."
