Spring came off of Baricello's Brawn and hit Massa's helmet knocking him unconscious; his Ferrrari hit the wall at 120mph.

One thing that kept me from driving sports racers or vintage formula cars was the exposure of the head. It's not uncommon to see objects or even another car slide up the body toward the driver's head.

I hope he is OK. Christiano De Matta hit a deer at Road America in a CART car. It ended his career.
