If you want a wallet that will outlast you, buy a Ghurka. I have had their "International" bi-fold for 12+ years. It is used every day and has seen it's share of abuse. Not one stitch out of place, and it gets better with age.

Did not know it was owned by a P car nut.

I use one of the leather ones. Works great! Just one small problem, the CC slots are too wide and the cards will fall out when you open the wallet if not careful. I stitched tighter and it works fine now.

I have a leather bifold that my girlfriend got me for christmas over 2 yrs ago. It has seen some serious use and still has at least another year in it. I think she payed like $30

You should send them an email, I know they had a couple kinks they worked out on the leather wallets and they will replace your wallet with the newer version.

I'm with Jeff on this one. $10 Ballistic nylon wallet from the flea market. Tough as hell. Has lasted me for years.

My wife bought me one of those pricey designer wallets. I destroyed it in less than a year.

I buy a deerskin wallet every 2-3 years at our local street fair. They hold up well and cost $40...

I did not carry a wallet for years and years - did the front-pocket clip or band thing. I do not carry/use much plastic so typically just some bills, license, ATM card and 1-2 credit cards. Lately I have been using one of these and it's worked great for the last couple years. Cheap, reasonably thin and well-made and decent-looking.

Shawn those thin ones look great but they lack organization for the cards... I don't want to have to pull out all of the cards I carry just to find my Discover...

I travel pretty light and carry a Coach card case as a wallet..

It fits my drivers license, a few CC's I keep the cash separate..

The reason they stack all of the cards on top of each other is so the wallet is more flexible because it can fold in the middle making it more comfortable to wear. The wallet you are talking about is made out of rip stop nylon (sail/parachute material) and they hold up better than any leather wallet I have ever owned. I actually use the nylon wallet because it is the thinnest wallet made (by anyone) and when I am at the track in the summer it is usually over 100 degrees and a leather wallet feels like it just gets sweaty and hot (the nylon wallets are water resistant). The only time I have messed up one of the nylon wallets was when I forgot that I had put my wallet on the work bench and was using a plasma cutter on some seat brackets about an inch from the wallet and melted it. Having a wallet made out of nylon was a little goofy to me at first but after using it for a couple days if you aren't a fan just send it back and they reimburse you with no hidden fees or other B.S.

I've got a Ferragamo wallet that would do the trick. It was a gift, so no idea how much it cost, but is very nice, particularly for business use.

I have owned a Fossil wallet for at least ten years, I maybe paid $35 for it. It's been in a pool several times as well as the ocean on my honeymoon. Also has a few paint stains from my summer as a painter. One of my credit cards is starting to wear through on the corner, but it's just getting broken in.;)

It is great that I can be sitting in my office thinking of how I need a new wallet, post on here, get some humorous answers, but lots of really good suggestions! Thanks guys!SmileWavy
