You know what really sucks? When you're really hungry, every kitchen within walking distance is closed, theres nothing in the fridge, and you've drank a half of a fifth of rum.
I'm resorting to eating really, really stale chips. |
Oh, and another though I need to add before I pass out-
It's about time we had another Los Angeles meeting-of-the-minds, Dave. We should start planning a summer bash early. |
you should throw them chips in a blender and make some kind of rum/chips based paste.
That way you can eat and get drunk at the same time. :D |
And there is no need for actual chewing either, which is handy if you're about to pass out.
|
The eerie thing about that, G... is that I just took some old salsa in the fridge along with this Bermuda rum and made some killer dip.
|
I think I'll stick to beer. All the nutrients and fluids you need...
Mike, I'm around. Name a place and time - hopefully I'll be free - should be . |
Morning guys. Don't forget your moms today. (I miss mine. :( )
|
Thanks for save'n my a$$......forgot about mom day.
Miss mine too. wife has been wanting some cow syte for the garden......think i'll get a bucket full at the neighbors or is that too romantic? |
Mike, we have an old Sioix drill that sounds like what you are describing. It's such a behemoth that we have it mounted up as a press. We are scared of it otherwise!
|
I have a 1/2 inch drill that is all aluminum and old. It does not stall, it just spins you around if you have a tight grip on it. I used the heck out of it drilling the 2 inch holes in the top of the wall headers when I put in my central vacuum system. I can tell you that standing on rafters in the HOT attic drilling a hole with a drill that does not stop is not fun. If you hit the little button that locks it ON you are gonna hate it if it hits a tough spot in the wood. It just keeps spinning until the plug is pulled out of the wall.
I got the newer 5 blade ceiling fan in place where the old 4 four blade fan was. Now I need to get the the old fan into the new spot. It was HOT here today. We hit 94 today. I think spring was on Thursday, now it is summer. ;) |
Well, didn't get a chance to play with the new circular saw. Pulled the old fence down and it needs posts. Deciding whether to go back in with wood or steel.
|
i like wood. but steel would last FOREVER.
|
nynor I plan to make a stop at USPS tomorrow. Will give you and update as to time frame after drop off.
|
how did the mushrooms turn out?
|
YUMMY!!!!!!!!! Still have some left. Probably cook them up in a few days.
The six live little dudes are all different. Home town is Bend OR so I hope you like their brews. |
very good. i am happy that you liked them. my neighbor is coming over tonight to play pool and wants to try them: how did you cook them?
i love bend and i love the beer there. i think i've had beer from four different breweries in bend, all of them good. i am very excited to get those beers! what was your impression of those mushrooms, if you don't mind my asking? |
firm, sweet and very tasty with a little butter over a steak. Not your ordinary store bought mushrooms. I see a side line to pay for all the car parts.......
|
LOL! i've actually discussed selling them with my wife at the farmers market. i am going to try a different fruiting technique and start setting up the spare basement room to really get cultivation going.
growing mushrooms is so much more interesting than working. |
slodave I have problems big problems. The kid got to play a SRV signature Fender today and now wants one. I am doomed. Either that or he gets job at 13.
