21.... Thats how old my friend will be in a few weeks.... ;)

G, check your email....

I'm still lost on this deal guys, I don't know what to think, and I am fixing to be gone for 2wks. I really don't want to be stewing on this all that time...

Geronimo '74 06-05-2011 11:40 PM

Replied to your mail.

Don't sweat on it too much Sid. You're doing fine.

porsche4life 06-05-2011 11:43 PM

Ya, she came out to help me pack tonight. I got most of my gear packed up and then we started watching a movie that was on TV. From that point on we spent most of the evening cuddled up on the couch asleep.

Oh and it was Daves favorite movie on.... "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man"

Geronimo '74 06-05-2011 11:48 PM

Ha! I saw that one a while ago, pretty old but still a good movie.
I don't mind watching Don Johnson act, he has a cool vibe over him.
Although I saw him in a more recent film and i was surprised how much he had aged.

porsche4life 06-05-2011 11:52 PM

It is a good movie, I've seen if before which is good. I slept through most of it this time...

slodave 06-05-2011 11:53 PM

Just watched it again the other night.

porsche4life 06-05-2011 11:55 PM

I have it on my HD come to think of it...

Anyways, I'm off to bed now. I was up wayyyy late last night... and its pushing 3am tonight....

Once you start having kids, as long as both are young enough to be able, the age difference really doesn't matter.

Morning Y'all

Geronimo '74 06-06-2011 12:29 AM

Rico, 'sup dude.

Rick V 06-06-2011 12:32 AM

Unfortunately me, I really don't want to go to work. It isn't the company I work for they are all top shelf fun people, it is just the job. I really need to find something else to do. With the economy in the toilet and my resume saying Mo-Frigging-Canic, it looks like I am locked down for a while (like for-frigging-ever)

Geronimo '74 06-06-2011 12:38 AM

Well, you could do a pottery class and sell ashtrays....
Clay is very therapeutic. :D

Sounds like a great idea, I could reconnect with my lost inner hippie. Let me run that past my mortgage company and see how it goes. :)

Good morning guys.

Rick, I had a short talk this weekend with a kid that sounded like he was right from da hood. He had a job at local oil change place. He wanted to get a job at a Chevy dealership so he could work his way up to be a line mechanic and in his mind have a great job. My advise was no drugs, and make it to work on time every day, and most important, ask the advise of the old Grey hair mechanics, ask them if it is a job they would want for their kids.

I have total respect for the guys doing that every day. It has to be a tough job. I love to work on my own cars but I do it at my pace and never under a deadline. I can't imagine doing it for a living.

Good morning guys.

Back in my younger & single days I dated a few women that now days would be called Cougars. A 46 year old woman usually has raised he kids and is now ready to have some fun. A 25 year old guy can learn a lot form a older woman.

The biggest challenge is a complete difference in music preference, movie preference and lifetime experience. If you are looking for a interesting experience go for it.

We have pretty similar interests and get along incredibly well. She has no kids and in casual conversation has mentioned that she has no plans to have kids. On top of the whole age issue, it would have to be kept fairly private as her work would be very disapproving.

Life is a pain in the ass sometimes.
