Once we were testing an air curtain/plc connection for a client. We set it up outside an engineers office, everytime he went in or left he got a blast of air. He got ticked about it so the last day we added some scent to the piping and told him it was just to blow a little sunshine up his.........

My dad is bringing some food and supplies over in a couple of hours. Mom is getting discharged right now and he has to get her meds and get her settled at home first.

And yes, my electrolytes are out of whack.

GH85Carrera 06-08-2011 12:39 PM

Whack em back in.

slodave 06-08-2011 12:46 PM

Only after my dad brings me Gatorade.

GH85Carrera 06-08-2011 12:55 PM

So you will be at home wacking?

Porsche-poor 06-08-2011 12:56 PM

Geronimo '74 06-08-2011 01:09 PM

I'm well adjusted (saw the chiropractor) and now I'm going for a good half a night's sleep....

Dave, get better you

GH85Carrera 06-08-2011 01:16 PM

So G-man was mal-adjusted and Dave is gonna get whacked.

slodave 06-08-2011 01:42 PM

Yay! Food brigade showed up. Chewy Chips Ahoy and some milk. Lots of other stuff too. Maybe my stomach can tolerate the cookies and milk and I can finally get some sleep.

Porsche-poor 06-08-2011 02:07 PM

I hope so. you hang in there and get better.

Porsche-poor 06-08-2011 06:52 PM

Is this an expression I do not know or did the mailman do something that earned him such a cruel and unusual punishment?? :)

Morning bozo's! :)

Dave feeling a bit better already?
I'm A-O-K! my visit to the chiro did wonders.
I didn't have any real issues, no aches or anything, it was only a bi-monthly check up. But boy, do I feel loose!.

slodave 06-08-2011 09:45 PM

My mailman put a box in my... Box... I guess it went in easily from where he puts the mail in, but the door I use was a tad narrow. Had a bit of a time trying to pull it out.

How am I feeling? All over the place. Temp was 101.7 a while ago, but had dropped below 100 at one point. Middle of the day I was not in good shape. Longest I slept was about 3 hours straight. I wish I could fall asleep for longer. It would really help.

Looks like I still have my client, but only because I have a critical piece of their software at home. :)

Geronimo '74 06-08-2011 09:48 PM

have you eaten any cucumbers lately??

Deadly EHEC bacteria outbreak in Northern Germany spreads to Scandinavia

livi 06-08-2011 09:52 PM

I am starting to see a connection here. So Dave, you have been nailing the mailman and now you have an infection.

Could be a coincidence of course..

GET WELL! SmileWavy

Geronimo '74 06-08-2011 09:54 PM

Lol, Markus, your sig.... :D:D:D

slodave 06-08-2011 09:54 PM

Oh Jesus.

Geronimo '74 06-08-2011 09:57 PM

Hahahahaha, see Dave, nothing like some fellow pelicans to cheer you up and make you feel better in these feverish times :)

And Markus is a doctor, so he knows about these things... hahahahaha

(I'm in such a good mood today... Wheeeee)

livi 06-08-2011 10:05 PM

Oh Dave! Donīt get religious on me now! You need to put your faith in moder medicine - not Jesus.

BTW, how long have you been ill and what symptoms have you had?

slodave 06-08-2011 10:19 PM

Hehe, not a religious person at all. Too many problems with religion, besides, in the end, we are animals too and I have yet to see a religious elephant.

I was fine Sunday, then I started losing energy while visiting mom, by the time dad and I had finished dinner, I had the shivers. I awoke about an hour after I fell asleep with a very queasy stomach, fever, aching all over...

Dad came down with something similar a few days earlier. He lucked out in the immune system department, as he rarely gets sick, I don't remember the last time he claimed to possibly have the stomach flu.

We don't share the same genes, so my reaction seems more on par with a flu, though I only come down with a mild flu every couple of years.

Since this is the second time I feel I have been dying after hospital visits, I think this and the first ordeal - the one that took me out for almost a month came from the hospital. I seemed to have a sinus infection the first time as well, which I escaped this time.
