Geronimo '74 10-11-2009 09:08 PM

I need more sleep

slodave 10-11-2009 09:12 PM

I'm wiped. Left the house in the dark around 6:15, came home in the dark, arriving home at around 20.30.

I have some nice flat spots now. :D

porsche4life 10-11-2009 09:17 PM

I may too. My little lock and slide put all the weight on the left front and got the tire into the fender.. :(

Geronimo '74 10-12-2009 12:07 AM

Morning Rick.... :)

(He'll be here any minute now...)

Rick V 10-12-2009 12:12 AM

svandamme 10-12-2009 12:21 AM

Rick V 10-12-2009 12:22 AM

svandamme 10-12-2009 12:44 AM

was referring to the contradiction in the post above it

"no he won't , he's sleeping in , morning fellas" ?

either you sleep in, or you're awake to greet us, can't have both, unless you're sleep posting

Rick V 10-12-2009 12:48 AM

Confusion is my media
contradictions are my language
oxy morons are my religion
in other words
Morning fellas. :)

Rick V 10-12-2009 12:54 AM

I forgot to turn the camera off after I finished, so things get a little boring after about 2:05... ;)

Geronimo '74 10-12-2009 09:02 PM

Morning,

Seems like fun Dave, we don't get that here, those AX days. Not that I know of.

Stijn, did you place the order yet??? Maybe I should consider this the first step of my rebuild....

porsche4life 10-12-2009 09:06 PM

Here's how Okies do autocross in the Cold :D

I had some better runs

svandamme 10-12-2009 09:06 PM

order is made,261,80 USD
gotta wait for the paypal charge to hit my MC card on my online banking, then i'll know what the x-rate was to Euro's.

Good thing you have me to jump start your rebuilding.

btw, when you order other parts, let me know as well. Might slip in some stuff on your shipments as well.

Geronimo '74 10-12-2009 09:14 PM

do you by any chance happen to have some of those special Porsche tools??
I'll be buying a lot of tools anyway but I was hoping to lend some of the special tools here and there... (more money for the rebuild)

svandamme 10-12-2009 09:28 PM

doubt it, most my specific engine tools i have are either mfi related, or 944 related.
Don't have the stuff to set cam timing on a 911 for instance, hold off buying the specialty tools till you are sure you can't lend em from somebody.
They are expensive, and it's not like you (or i) will be rebuilding every month...

If you do think of buying, let me know, maybe we can work something out, i might need em more later on. Have to big of a garage not to make better use of it

They are, and sure hope not. (I'm contemplating going to 3.4 but doubt if I got enough money left)

Peterfrans 10-12-2009 09:37 PM

Guys, I have some you can lend (crows foot, camholder tool for early and late, stomski tool for setting the chain sprockets). One word: westvleteren ;-)
