I can see how random gunfire might upset some neighbours... ;)
Can you just take visitors to the range and let them shoot??
Over here you need proof of good conduct from the police even before you're allowed to enter the range. But then again, I live in a gunshy country.

The range is private, but I know some people, we just roll in, decide which range we want to use, and start blasting some stuff. There is an indoor range (pistol calibers only) a trap range, a "plinking range" and a long rifle range. I am hoping I can talk dad out of some of his cooler spoons. :)

there's a guy at work that is (notorious) for taking a deer in his front yard...from inside his living room. no regard for the window...shot from his couch and took it down. ultimate hick.

Geronimo '74 07-10-2011 02:01 PM

Wow,

A guy I know who owns a bar here, has been arrested.
Dunno what happened exactely, there was a fight in the bar. The other guy did not survive...
Bar owner is in jail. I'm sure he didn't want things to turn out this way but they did. He is a former free fighter (albeit in a ring with a referee), he should have known better.
He won't get away lightly. Lives ruined.... Sad story.

Stijn!!

Good afternoon guys.

We went to see Cars2 in 3D today. I liked it & so did Mrs. Carrera.

It amazing how much it cost to go to the movies. Tickets for two = 18 bucks. Popcorn & two drinks 18.25 bucks.

Ok use the geezer voice: Why I remember back when I was a kid we went to the the movies for 25 cents and popcorn, drinks and candy was a dime. We got a serial western and a cartoon before the movie. That is not a tall tale, it really was that cheap in 1962.

Of course there was no 3D but it was cheap!
