My paid leave, pending conclusion of HR's investigation into what must number a dozen complaints, has been extended until next Thursday. I'm not sure it'll be done by then... I've had an ace up my sleeve through this whole things and been a step ahead of the evil woman. She's made some pretty ridiculous claims, lacked consistency and just been generally malicious towards me. I found out today, that after some correspondence with the HR director, she's decided to retain an attorney. It appears they're really trying to pull the wool over her eyes, a fate I avoided. I'm not sure she even realizes her job is in jeopardy. She actually thinks that the HR director is 'on her side' |

On the prowl for a new set of pistons... Porsche sells them only as a set WITH the cilinders... Ouch! If I have no other way than to buy pistons and cilinders together, I am going 3.4 as my original plans were. Stijn, I asked advice from a mechanic before beadblasting the piston domes and bottoms. (not the sides) He said to go ahead, gently and don't do the sides..... One mechanic I won't be going back to.... Now I'm looking at a set of P and C's on Kapaza. (FG Porsche) 1500 bucks for 'high pressure' pistons. (shaped differently than Motronic pistons) Not sure how much they will raise the CR of 10.3:1. Not sure if that would be a good thing.... |
