If I said I don't even remember being that young it would simply prove the point as to why Sid is confused.

So someone stole your garage lights or your wood? I'm confused.....

The cost of the gates and the install cost what it would've for my lights. Never mind:(;):pI'm going back to sleep

Rick, can you park your truck somewhere and not get those guns stolen????
They're for grabs for any crackhead passing by...
Or am I missing something??? (one might argue I miss a lot of things, but let's not go there.... ;) )

slodave 11-21-2009 01:21 AM

Rick is from a very small town....

Geronimo '74 11-21-2009 01:25 AM

Still...
I hear people talking about putting guns in safes, triggerlocks and all...
This seems to be the opposite.
Not being a critic, just trying to understand, that's all..

slodave 11-21-2009 01:46 AM

There are certain places here, where you can still leave your guns in the car, front doors unlocked...

livi 11-21-2009 02:49 AM

You poor sods. There are so many brilliant prescription drugs just a few clicks away on my computer. :D

Tis true.... Still leave keys in vehicles at my folks house all the time...

Rick V 11-21-2009 09:40 AM

I don't leave guns in the rack, I just have that pic on the computer. Besides I carry a .45 acp, and bring it in with me.

'allo lads.
just made the trip up the road to Livi's home country. had a look at an old house in the ski resort town and made an offer on it. The owner had already agreed to a lesser sum, which we have now bid over, so it's up to what the other potential buyer wants to do. it's gonna need some work but big potential!

Oh, and did I mention 3 GARAGES!!!

Turboo, to answer your question about the $4400 bodywork estimate:

Here's what the seller showed me:

and here's what he didn't show me!

Good thing for PPIs!!

That quarter panel is rough, and the door doesn't line up very well either. Unless it is a steal I would pass.

Webbster, Dam thats to bad looked like a nice car. When I bought Cristine She was in need of nothing but new tires, I paid $18K for her. I had some back into her left rear fender in front of my upholstery shop, 2 years after buying her.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1258845461.jpgShe came with 8s & 9s, rebuilt motor, and inter-cooler. First thing I painted her wheels black, then installed a light weight interior. I'd keep looking unless you can get her for cheap.:(:eek::cool:

Broke a damned banjo bolt on the oil feed line for the blower in the VW... Nobody around here keeps metric stuff... Looks like I will spend monday morning chasing parts on the phone and then road trip tuesday to get them... GRRR

livi 11-21-2009 11:05 PM

Turboo934 11-21-2009 11:33 PM

konichiwa

weather here is so good, it looks like nature forgot about winter and skipped straight ahead to spring...

Rick V 11-22-2009 01:08 AM

Morning.
Hey I see the Doctor is in. :)

livi 11-22-2009 01:11 AM

You wish..but yes, it would be wonderful if nature skipped November-February. Absolutely awful. The darkness is killing me with good help from the rain, wind and cold temps. In twenty years from now I aim to spend those months on the Riviera - with money I donīt have. They say money doesnīt bring happiness - well, lack of money brings Unhappiness.

livi 11-22-2009 01:12 AM

Rick! You need anything? :D
