Did you do service pack 2?

I turned off updates since I got my new hard drive. It used to tell me to update a lot, and occasionally that would screw something up and so a new update would be required to fix the update...

Haven't updated in about 11 months and am not going to unless I see a good reason to which is unlikely.

Updated to 7 and problem solved
Did you test the HD? Failing HD can cause BSOD's ;). Installing a new OS will write files to other locations and may seem like the issue is solved, but it's not..

Backup your data!

New axles ordered for the Toyota. CV joints are about to fall apart and seize.

The key was turning user account control off. It took me a lot of searching through the control panel and help menus until I figured that out. No more asking permission over and over. Do you want to open this file you just clicked on? Yes. Are you sure? YES already. Are you really, really sure? This is an administrative action and all. AAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHH.
No more of that.

I guess I have a thing going. I drive old cars, listen to old music, and use old computer stuff. Living in the Past. :)

Well, first I had to figure out what I was searching for. I had to pay attention to the messages that popped up.

You secretly lust after cougars don't you max?

Flieger 11-14-2011 05:53 PM

Well, I prefer the mustangs actually.

Flieger 11-14-2011 05:54 PM

Just don't tell Paul that.

porsche4life 11-14-2011 05:54 PM

Flieger 11-14-2011 05:58 PM

Flieger 11-14-2011 06:01 PM

porsche4life 11-14-2011 06:04 PM

They run the gammut, from hot, to not hot at all....

Icemaster 11-14-2011 06:05 PM

They're usually either saggy or plastic. Much like the cars.

porsche4life 11-14-2011 06:06 PM

A few of them rattle endlessly, also much like the cars...

You really have to watch out for the ones with rot around the edges...

Flieger 11-14-2011 06:06 PM

I'll pass then.

porsche4life 11-14-2011 06:08 PM
