true, but when you bury the throttle in a car like that, you have to be ready for that to happen...

It actually looks like he did gun it at the last slalom, but the finish straight seems to be offset to the left slightly and he nudged the steering wheel to the left and the back came around.

Also seems to be a bad track setup at that point with the curb there.

Yes, seems to be stupidity all around...

Just makes us thankful to not have to autocross around curbs and lightpoles...

Looks to me like he missed the brake pedal and foot slipped over to the throttle.

I was just saying that that is what the driver was thinking. "Ouch! Who put that curb there?" (after all the sailor talk has been edited out).
