A friend of mine is a ENT surgeon. He has had some 8 and 10 hour surgeries. I can't imagine being stuck in one spot standing up and doing a surgical procedure on someone's head for that long. He had one case where a guy that was a lifetime smoker and snuff user that had his jaw and throat eaten up with cancer.

Well today just sucks. To top off the crappy 26% pay cut this year no bonus (knew that was going to happen), now for the second year in a row we are loosing a paid holiday. Thats it I am a slave not an employee.

Rant over

Porsche-poor 12-15-2011 12:04 PM

Hard to tell but there's oil on the dip stick so no hole in the oil pan.
The underside is so full of mud you can't see anything. It looked worse last night looking at it with a flashlight.
Still can't figure out how the driver side got hit. looking at the tracks going off the road it appeared to be in a slide when it went in the ditch but it continued up over the bank and into the woods quite a ways. I would have thought the passenger side would have most of the damage.

I have to assume she was on the brakes as she went off road. Going through mud is difficult. It is amazing that the vehicle kept moving. Are you sure she was not on the gas?

It is a strange crash.

svandamme 12-15-2011 12:11 PM

think lucky them trees weren't bigger there.. Glad she was that lucky.

I saw her hit the truck as i was already to the side of his trailor with my front wheels..
I was at speed and managed to get rid of that speed with about a foot to spare.
I'm talking split seconds here.. There was no time or room to spare.

pucker factor about 7. strong work staying in control.

GH85Carrera 12-15-2011 12:29 PM

Yea, overall she was lucky to escape uninjured.

nynor 12-15-2011 12:31 PM

pete, that is bad, for sure. but not as bad as i thought.

I can't recall that I had even one thought about hitting her. Had confidence in BF1's braking ability.
But I was VERY worried about who/what came up from behind me..
Luckily nobody up my tail (rare occurrence anyway)..had my hand on the emergency signal indicator before I came to a full stop.

vas930 12-15-2011 01:07 PM

Just a day around the house.
Go to the GYM, enjoy the sun and talk nonsense with you blokes.

And keep an eye on the Darwin and Gaywheels threads.

Some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you.

slodave 12-15-2011 01:49 PM

If you are eating beer. It's probably frozen.

Icemaster 12-15-2011 01:50 PM

Porsche-poor 12-15-2011 01:57 PM
