I knew a guy a college who would go up to random attractive girls at parties and just start calling them "Jen." If her name really was Jen, she might think she had met him somewhere and embarrassingly didn't remember his name, but by then the conversation had already started. He claimed it worked.

That last one is much more my style, lol. Maybe, I'll see if she wants to meet at the cigar shop for lunch tomorrow ;)
