I'm excited to get back out and sluice for more gold. Too bad I have to wait until mid March. Too cold here too. Though, not nearly as cold as Alaska.

I think you missed the part after the smiley...

It's too friggen' cold up there! When it starts to warm up, the snow will melt and the river will really rise, plus be too fast (and cold) to run the sluice. At least for me....

Hey Rick, do you hear the theme to Jaws. I have not looked at the forecast but the big storm in the Midwest usually goes right to you house.

i've done a little bit of gold panning. i still have a pan. i also made a sluice, back in high school. i had some fun times. maybe we could meet up in the sierras and do some prospectin', dave.

Glen, I am in aridzoney. We have already exchanged a stack of bills for a pickup, and gotten a CNG fill. Now we are off to buy some toolboxes dad has found for sale.
