Not gonna happen, I am a brutally blunt person.
Anybody wanna buy my Boxster? It needs to go.

the_webbster 12-06-2009 06:03 AM

I meant brutal as in poorly translated.

staring in the face of a 7 hour drive on terrible norwegian winter roads. off to our head office in Oslo til thrusday.

I have a chronic sinus infection that comes and goes. right now I feel it coming on and it really zaps the energy outta me.

Should be on the road in a half hour or so.

Rick V 12-06-2009 06:10 AM

needless to say but be carefull

the_webbster 12-06-2009 06:27 AM

The Honduh goes well on those roads. built in Alliston, Ontario!
could use a little better set of witner tires though as I run a seperate set of summer wheels.
later rick.

Morning boys... ;) No I'm not just getting up... I'm just finally awake...

Hey Glen, You get that race pressed in yet? Remind me to explain Kansas style next weekend....

Rick V 12-06-2009 03:32 PM

You are saying morning as I am looking to close my day out.
I scored today, I found a set of Dodge bucket seats for free. Gonna ditch the bench seat in Peggy.

porsche4life 12-06-2009 03:34 PM

Damn, there for a second I though you had gotten a piece...

Whats wrong with the bench seat? Better for gettin some....

Rick V 12-06-2009 03:37 PM

Frigging rookie, bench seat, right in front of an 8 foot bed

porsche4life 12-06-2009 03:39 PM

You know Rick... It gets cold round these parts occasionally... Then you go to the front seat....

Rick V 12-06-2009 03:41 PM

well ya gotta remember, I have a 4 bedroom house, and my parents don't live here. :)

porsche4life 12-06-2009 03:42 PM

I have no clue why but I feel this song needs posted....

Brett Dennen- Ain't no reason...

there ain't no reasons things are this way
its how they've always been and they intend to stay
i can't explain why we live this way
we do it everyday
preachers on the podiums speaking to saints
prophets on the sidewalks begging for change
old ladies laughing from the fire escape, cursing my name
i got a basket full of lemons and they all taste the same
a window and a pigeon with a broken wing
you can spend your whole life working for something
just to have it taken away
people walk around pushing back their desks
wearing pay checks like necklaces and bracelets
talking 'bout nothing, not thinking about their
every little heart beat, every little breath
people walk a tight rope on a razor's edge
carrying their hurt and hatred and weapons
it could be a bomb or a bullet or a pin
or a thought or a word or a sentence.
there ain't no reasons things are this way
its how they've always been and they intend to stay
i don't know why i say the things i say,
but i say them anyway.
but love will come set me free
love will come set me free
i do believe
love will come set me free
i know it will
love will come set me free
yes
prison walls still standing tall
some things never change at all
keep on building prisons,
gonna fill them all.
keep on building bombs
gonna drop them all
working your fingers bare to the bone
breaking your back, make you sell your soul
like a lung is filled with coal, suffocating slow
the wind blows wild and i may move
but politicians lie and i'm not fooled
you don't need no reason or a 3 piece suit
to argue the truth
the air on my skin and the world under my toes
Slavery stitched into the fabric of my clothes
chaos and commotion wherever i go
love, i try to follow
but love will come set me free
love will come set me free
i do believe
love will come set me free
i know it will
love will come set me free
yes
there ain't no reasons things are this way
its how they've always been and they intend to stay
i can't explain why we live this way;
we do it everyday.

Well.... I don't live my parents anymore either... My room mate doesn't mind the noise...

Rick V 12-06-2009 03:45 PM

well my wife minds the noise so the house isn't that good for me. :)

I love my Ridgeline.
just did 7 hours of crappy norwegian winter driving and she runs like a malamute.

rolled up on a pretty bad accident (didn't actually see it, just the road block - turns out there was a fatality) did a 180 after 5 mins of waiting and followed the GPS over some backwoods winter roads. cost me 45mins but better than waiting at a road block for who knows how long.

I'm now in the nations capitol of this fine country. Barack is actually coming here next weekend I think for the nobel prize. I won't be here by then though.
I'm out time for bed. Hotel bed.

Rick V 12-06-2009 04:44 PM

glad Ya arrived safe and sound.
Yeah the Ridgeline is a decent vehicle (unless ya need to pick up full sheets of plywood.)

porsche4life 12-06-2009 04:45 PM

Or pull much of a load...

porsche4life 12-06-2009 07:03 PM

Hmm... I don't think my 944 would survive all the snow between the two of us... Maybe in the summer... How far are you from Bonneville?
