i once snapped out of it, sitting down with Bubba purring next to me
and the whole appartement thrashed or flooded..

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas style.. Intense stuff.
life changing trip.

Things like that never bothered me. Saw the rising waters of the living room once and just watched the furniture kind float. Had some very interesting memories. Our party room had all the legs cut off the furniture so you were sitting on something but on the floor at the same time. It was a strange place to be sober. :)

Fight is on, Mailman has pissed me off one time to many

This is the guy who drops a note saying he can't deliver the parcel because i'm not home.
when i am working from home, sitting 1 meter from the mailbox
When i get the note out, while he is standing there, he goes, but the parcel isto big, it's back in the distribution go pick it up AND i'm seing it in his van.

This guy

so now,he drops a note in my mailbox, stating my mailbox is not according to spec
that it's not next to the road

nobody has the mailbox by the side of the roard mailbox is, these are row houses!

That a car was parked in front of it

lies, i'm sitting behind the window, there are no cars in front of me

that i don't have a doorbell
Not a postal requirement , at all.

And my suspicion is, he has a legal consigned letter from that court request, and he's holding it back now just to be a jerk.
fight is on, i'm reporting his ass and i want a full complaint logged, processed and resolved.

hopefully the M1a comes soon.. i'm sure that will work fine .

Mailman should actually know i'm packing, i get letters from the governement gun office on a regular basis :D

Rick V 01-26-2012 03:15 AM

Can you use the M1 indoors at your range? Here we are limited to handgun rounds due to the decelerator.

Rick V 01-26-2012 03:28 AM

Okay I am off to that four letter word.

svandamme 01-26-2012 03:30 AM

Well our 100 meter range is semi outdoors..
We can go up to .308 winchester

But we cannot have full power rounds after a certain hour, for noise .

Most all of the trips I took were with a group and I would drive everyone around in my station wagon. We called it Blazing. There were a LOT of places much more interesting tripping. The local science museum and planetarium show were very entertaining. We usually started early evening and ended watching the sun rise from somewhere with a great view, then getting breakfast at Denny's.

The worst thing we ever had happen was this chick jumped out of the car at a stop sign in a park and ran off.

It was about midnight when she just jumped out and ran of into the park. I drove as far as I thought she could get in the direction she disappeared, parked, and all 8 of the rest of us bailed out to look for her. Of course, it didn't take long for everyone to get distracted. Most were wondering around aimlessly looking under bushes and behind trees calling out her name. This one guy was just laying on the ground, flat on his back, looking up at the sky, and every once in a while yelling her name.

It was about then the whole park lit up, 3 cop cars pulled in lights a blazin'. It was a fantastic light show with all the red and blue lights flashing and the police shining their flash lights all around. Especially for the guy laying on the ground. I went over to the closest cop and he asked me what was going on. The quick thinker I am, I told him this chick had gotten pissed at her boyfriend, jumped out of the car, ran into the park, and that we were looking for her. And I asked if they could help us find her because she seemed pretty upset.

Amazingly the police not only helped but found her, get this, at the donut shop 1/2 mile from the park. The police found our missing person in about 5 minutes at the nearest donut shop...almost like it was the first place they looked. We thanked the police, picked her up at the donut shop, and continued our psychedelic journey.

We had been avoiding driving anywhere near food places because we thought eating would bring us down. The chick had gotten the munchies and jumped out specifically to go get a donut at that donut shop. She said it kind of freaked her out when the police came in the donut shop and asked if she was herself. She was really relieved when they said her friends were looking for her. She thought she was going to have to call her mom to come pick her up.

RKDinOKC 01-26-2012 05:21 AM

Oh and nope, the road, steering wheel or anything else like that ever melted while I was driving.

I have never tried any illegal drugs of any sort. I was around a few folks with weed enough to know that was not for me. I like beer. Legal and available everywhere.

Good morning guys.

Flieger 01-26-2012 09:28 AM

I'm fine with reality. And I would like to keep all the brain cells I can.

I can really dig the trippy music from the 60's and 70's though, even without trippin' myself.

svandamme 01-26-2012 09:33 AM

Well, it has it's uses.. in my case, it ended a long run of self destructive behaviour.
Made me focus on what really matters.. I'll trip again, not right now,but some day..

Yes and no. It's like lusting after a supermodel. No freakin' way I'm spending $60K on a car. I've got about 47 other financial commitments more important than that.

svandamme 01-26-2012 09:36 AM

But now, i'm going to the range.. the new competition starts in a week, and this year i'm killing paper with the 45 instead of the club .22 ..

Last year i started off shooting 130/200, ended with 170/200 sessions., average over 20 runs, througout the year was 153 / 200 with the .22

With the .45 i would like to improve on that, 190/200 high score would be a very nice result @ 25 meter.. offhanded..
And a 170 average perhaps?
Dunno if i'll manage that, it's easier to improve from 130 to 170 then it is to go from 170 to 180 or 190...

Noah930 01-26-2012 09:37 AM

How far's the mail truck from the front window?

Flieger 01-26-2012 09:40 AM

Send Boris to take care of the mail man?

Noah930 01-26-2012 09:57 AM

Or my dog. She wants to tear the mailman a new one everytime she sees him. Sheesh. It's the same freakin' guy every day. He brings us stuff and we chat amicably when we run into him. You'd think she'd get a clue that he's not home intruder material.

Jim Richards 01-26-2012 10:09 AM

Now, it's clear why we've seen so little of Markus around here lately. He's been busy.

ABBA to release first new song in 18 years - CNN.com

GH85Carrera 01-26-2012 11:57 AM

Personally I would prefer they wait another 18 years to release any songs.
