Put your mind to it and you can do anything. :) Well, almost. Sometimes people are truly hopeless at something and should step away from that. |
Nite, Dave.

Another sunny day, but flipping hell, forgot something. snow on my solar panels.
Now i gotta get on the roof to clear em, cause i ain't letting that sun go to waste! |
Don't fall!
|
cancel that plan, the snow is to hard, stuck to the panels.
i'm going to leave it so i don't damage em. |
Solar Panels, aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh.
This time last year, I paid for a 3.4 kw system to be put on my house, it went up eventually, go all certified, eventually around Nov 11, and I am still waiting for it to be connected to the grid, the inspection date by the local DH planning council wankers is 5th March. So all of the summer sun is goooooooooooooone, sos pissed, so damned annoyed, so ahhhh, makes me so mad. Bloody local council DHs, just so much paperwork, and bull*****, I should have been getting 45cents a kw hour but oh no I am getting nothing. So P155ed off. |
oh yeah, evening gents!
|
They came the week after it was installed.
And basically i turned it on before that, it worked just fine.. Sounds like Oz also imported English civil disservice methods? Got a 3.4 Kwp setup, 14 x 240 Wp panels made 10.78 Kwh the other day, freezing weather but blue clear skies. Just liken now, i hope it melts the snow off the panels |
Watching the "comedy" The Expendables, think all of these old action "heroes" must have met at their local plastic surgeons waiting room, if it was supposed to be a drama they failed, but it is laughable. Sly Stallone, Arnie, Bruce Willis, Mickey Roarke, they all look so artificial, quite sad really, why can't they just mature gracefully,..... like me!!!
|
Canberra has beautiful sunny winter days as well, but unfortunately no snow, well one in a blue moon, but nothing exciting. Being at 700 metres, and no pollution, we are supposed to have better sunny days than almost anywhere else in Oz, so good for solar production, if I can just get it turned on. funny at 7am the other morning, I had one of the Electricity guys turn up to check that we had not illegally turned on the solar system. Bloody hell as if I would do that and not get paid for it!!
|
expendables sucked, and they're making a new one now..
That really sucks, if they make it so strict they should at least certify within at a reasonable timeframe.. |
Stijn,
All technical approvals were completed in Nov but its just administrative bull***** that is stopping it being approved, it is even connected to the grid, just not switched on, it even has a lead seal on the thing so they can see if I have switched it on, no sense of humour these guys. |
They did the same thing here, except no lead seal.
There is this big plastic plug on the invertor, and all i had to do was plug it in. I had 25Kwh by the time they came to cert, arguably , that wasn't much, but it felt good. When they certified it, they shrugged and said, we don't care, we just come check it, and then we reset the clock so you don't get payed for those 25, but at least you got to use em for free, good for you he said. |
Snow dookie

Howdy Dave, That neck looks good. You should market your own line of "SloDaves"
|
Thanks, Rick. :) If this neck is anything like mine, after David gets this SG all purty and setup, it won't go out of tune.
