At that point Max will wish he had not only punched himself in the nuts, but sledgehammered his nuts as well..

Good Night Jeff & Azzy.

Good Morning guys.

As far as the Alcohol consumption, in my younger days I tried a lot of different stuff. Wine always gave me a headache. It did not matter if it was cheap wine or the good stuff, my head would hurt the next morning. I got sick on Rum when I was 18 and I have not had any since. And yes back in the stone ages when I was 18 it was legal for 18 year olds to drink.

I dated one chick that was a Tequila drinker. I tried to keep up with that little 90 lb chick and she literally drank me under the table. I woke up under the dining room table with my face plastered to the carpet.

Since my 1st beer I have liked beer. I still like beer. I can drink and enjoy the cheap stuff and I have not had any sort of hangover in 25 years. I learned my limit LONG ago. When I am on vacation I make it a point to drink the locally brewed beer, and it is the good stuff. When we eat out I almost always order just one premium beer.

Stijn, how's the solar system working out for you?

HHI944 03-21-2012 07:57 AM

When I drink tequila, I pick fights with marines. My success rate in that endeavor is only 50% so I try to stay away from tequila.

GH85Carrera 03-21-2012 08:01 AM

Picking fights with any marine is not usually a good plan.

Lol, the DA who gave the negative advice, and did not really offer much motivation for it, now he has ordered the federal police to send a detective my way to hear me out about my missing dad. all the daoffered was conflicting arguments and "we think he went into hiding" without any substantiated information , basically a guestimation, one of many.

He's been missing for 14 months, and only now that i'm just requesting somebody would be assigned to manage his estate, they figure they want to find out what i know about it.
It's not like i'm asking to be put in control, no ,i 'm asking that they put a notary on the job to take care of things nobody is looking after now..

It's in his best interest , and if he doesn't return in x number of years , in my best interest because if he doesn't return alive, that's my inheritance..
Not out of the ordinary to kinda look out for that, no?

All this time they investigated, questioned everybody but me, his legal son, and never bothered to even let me know he was missing, if my sister hadn't told me , i would have had to read about it in the paper months later. Very thorough investigation ... Now , i don't have any information, haven't seen or heard him in i think 3 or so years.. But that doesn't change the fact that A they never botherd to ask me before and B they never bothered to inform me either.

and now that i'm doing my due dilligance to make sure nobody takes advantage of the situation, now they want to talk to me..

bit late i would think.

Solar system working out fine, today was a new High Score, 16kwh !

Don't try me.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! I meant that I usually get along great with Dads or people my Dad's age.

Good job on the solar power Stijn! :)

So Rick, what's the status with Possil these days.
Is he still Possil, or did they do the smart thing and bugger off?
If not buggered off, any fun plans you are developing?

I always love the Bill Ingvall line about dating his daughter.

You lean in close to the boy, and in a quiet but forceful way say "Just remember I am not afraid to go back to prison kid"

sisters boyfriend bought a new laptop last week, and already buggered it up with a software update or something.. obviously they call me , cause i know computers.

Kinda told him to call the shop since it's a new laptop and that's what warranty is for.

I really don't get exited about fixing Windows 7 crap just because they know my number.

Seriously, he's a nice friendly guy and all that, but it takes a big paycheck and a company BMW for me to keep doing the job that i'm doing and when i'm done doing the job that i'm doing i really don't need free helpdesk work to keep me from getting bored... The weather is to damned nice to sit inside with laptops and reinstall cd's.. Maybe in winter, but not now.

Flieger 03-21-2012 11:33 AM

Geez. If anyone really knew me there would be no need for all the threats.

Well, you could always ask them for some money. Can buy more ammo with that.

svandamme 03-21-2012 11:36 AM

You seem a bit spooked Max... imagine what a real threat would do to you, not something on the interwebz.. I recommend you join the Marines to find out !

I am not spooked such that I would not ask a girl out for fear of that treatment from her Dad, I just see the whole thing as un-necessary. I do realize they are just protective of their daughters.

Keep in mind that here in CA guns aren't really a part of culture as they are in other areas. (Well, except for LA). So the gun cleaning thing seems kinda strange. I'm a lover, not a fighter. :)

Well frankly, i can't ask them for money because they both work at a sheltered workplace because they have some limitations. I really don't need 20 bucks from kids who don't make what i make if they throw both their paychecks in the scale.
I'm sure they could pay me 20 bucks, but i could never accept it.

And i know , that i could help them because of this, but you know, they never listen to me anyway and never asked me what or where to buy the laptop.
Every so many months something is buggered up and they only call me when something is buggered up.. they never call me for something else.

Since he has the cash to buy one at a store, that store can do the customer service. It's only been a week, so they really should. BF says, well the store is not to friendly.. Well that's a bummer, but i did not pick the store, nor am i responsible for their customer service.

I have to block things like this off from time to time, else i can fix computers for free every evening.. And it really isn't a hobby.

Flieger 03-21-2012 11:43 AM

And as for the armed forces, I am not cut out for that. Following orders and uniformity, not being in charge of my own time. I hate that. I do realize how much work it takes to become a Marine and I respect that, but it is not for me. I used to want to fly fighter jets, though. :)
