Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha

svandamme 12-24-2009 08:24 AM

there's more where that came from, get the magazine, it's only 1599 Euro a year..

Custom work never comes cheap, but it's worth every cent.

livi 12-24-2009 08:33 AM

Dear member: I have come up with a solution to the dreaded situation you describe. Drive with the parking brake engaged.

svandamme 12-24-2009 08:35 AM

nonsense, that's not the advice you would get from a quality magazine like mine.
The P-brake would overheat, glaze up and lose it's braking ability in no time.

Rick V 12-24-2009 08:40 AM

Everybody knows you are supposed to put a chunk of 2X4 under the gas pedal

livi 12-24-2009 08:45 AM

Sometimes I just like to play it safe and leave it in first gear. Tends to result in an annoying noise coming from behind the car. Sounds like a symphony of horns.

porsche4life 12-24-2009 09:08 AM

Ugh. We got just enough snow to be annoying. Now the wind is blowing so hard it looks like a blizzard. Yuck.

svandamme 12-24-2009 09:08 AM

more glasswool itch

Rick V 12-24-2009 09:11 AM

Well if it makes ya feel better Sid it is very sunny here. It is just the precursor to the storm.

that's the redneck solution, this is a Gentlemen's magazine.
Any advice given, as such, will be something with style, fit for a gentleman.

Rick V 12-24-2009 09:13 AM

okay we'll jam a goochie loafer under there

porsche4life 12-24-2009 09:13 AM

The sno blew right off the roads so I can't go rally car it in the vw. :(

svandamme 12-24-2009 09:19 AM

Rally car with FWD? that's just to easy Sid, kid's stuff. for real

You need to use the 44 for that, learn to unbalance the backend by engine braking, and catching it again... (no other way to do it in a 44, as the Pbrake is in the wrong location for nimble steering, shifting, and P-braking).
It helps if you got a spare set of front wheels, put those in the back for a narrower track, that improves snow handling.

Rick V 12-24-2009 09:25 AM

And make sure to get it on video.

svandamme 12-24-2009 09:27 AM

And get somebody along for the ride, share the fun.
I had my grandpa's sister with me 2 days ago.. 73 years old, while i was doing snow donuts...She loved it.

porsche4life 12-24-2009 10:00 AM

Sorry Stijn... Not getting the 944 out and sliding it around... Its too nice... Can't stuff it up... The vw on the other hand...

svandamme 12-24-2009 10:12 AM

W to the U and a double S in the back

Rick V 12-24-2009 01:28 PM

Crap-crap-crap.
My kids are all grown up, and yet I am still assembling frigging toys.

porsche4life 12-24-2009 01:32 PM

For the grandbaby rick?

Rick V 12-24-2009 01:34 PM

Yeah, The wife decided that he didn't have enough power wheels and such. His Dad is working tonight so I get to be the assembly elf.
