Years ago, I watched Quadrophenia on Speedvision of all places. :)

The 60's were my formative years. I'll always love the music

I own all the Zeppelin Albums. Then I bought the CDs. Now at least I can just play my MP3s from the CDs.

Back in 1973 I bought a Quadraphonic 8 Track of my favorite album Tres Hombres. When the player in my car ate that tape I had to buy another copy but I could not get a quadraphonic version so I bought the standard stereo version. That tape was eaten as well so I changed over to cassette tape and bought it again. I finally got smart and bought the album and recorded a tape from it. Then in the early 80s I bought a CD version. Finally I bought the ZZ Top 6 pack CD which has the album as well. After buying that Tres Hombres album 6 times I still love it.

It still blows me away that I can fit all 100+ CDs that I own on my iPhone and carry them with me everywhere.

I didn't get into music till the 80's then only the good stuff not the bubble gum.

Now its classic rock. Helps to have a kid who can play some of it.

This video clip was from a movie, I think. It captures Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page on stage together, with a little extra guitar love from Jeff.

That's unexpected.

Also, check out music from The Doors and The Byrds. Amazingly, Pink Floyd is originally a '60's band.

Here's an interesting list someone put together with short audio clips. Select top 200 songs from the menu. The 1960's Decade - 1960s - All-time top 100 music and songs
