the part that has me boggled about this teaching gig is that they've been looking for a replacement for about 6 months. now, they have TWO openings and, from what i gathered from conversations, they have no prospects. further, this wasn't a local decision (supposedly), but came up the chain at corporate (in san diego). my two theories are that they decided i didn't have enough experience or that my current boss poisoned the well. who knows. fk it.

Well I did talk to the blonde a few times and I did ask my friend about hiking or cycling. I got the feeling from the blonde that she wanted me to leave her alone. Plus there are other guys that seem to talk to her more frequently like there is something going on between them.

Flieger 04-18-2012 05:39 PM

Well I just got an email that the FSAE team wants some help at the hangar. Later y'all.

While good encouragement to Max, that's looking at it from the GF side of things. Look at it from the angry BF side of things: Max = threat to his manliness that must be eliminated/taught a lesson.

My business partner told me a story from his youth. He found some gorgeous girl who was interested in him. He went over to her place one night. Apparently she thought it was incredible sex; he says he lasted so long because he couldn't, um, finish because in his mind he kept thinking of her very large and not-so-well-tempered recent ex-BF. Finally, on his way out the door to his car the angry recent ex-BF confronted him in the street. My partner thought he was a goner. But, quick thinker that he was, my partner (in between pleading for his life) reminded the ex-BF that if the ex-BF were to beat him up, then the ex-BF would likely wind up back in jail. Something clicked, and the angry ex-BF let my partner go.

well, i am a respiratory therapist, most recently. like a nurse, but for the lungs. i also had my EMT cert, at one point and no a bit of first aid type medicine. there is no comparable profession to a respiratory therapist in australia, apparently (i did some research). i've also done a fair bit of computer tech work. mainly, i specialize in hardware and MS operating systems (but i can muddle my way through any OS). if you want a resume, shoot me you email via PM.

again, thanks for looking out for me.

d.

I'll have a look whats about for medico types locally for you. Resume not necessary. If I find anything I'll PM.

very true. but no harm in asking is my point. if she has a boy friend then she should be telling him that. If she is looking to move on this might be the push off the fence she needs.

Stupid squirrel got through my netting. I though at first it jumped on top of the netting that I put over the garden and so I spent about an hour and a half trying to tie bamboo sticks together to take up the slack and prevent the wait of the squirrel from allowing it to eat my stuff. I put the last stake in the ground to keep the side netting as far as possible and what do I find?!?! A hole in the net! The thing either chewed through the net and got in or chewed through it as it was eating my already eaten broccoli, lettuce and spinach. I set up a live trp and hope fully the peanut butter in it will attract what ever it is.

Porsche-poor 04-18-2012 06:55 PM

he was probably chewing on the other side while you were busy on the other.
