I am still rather frustrated about how she bailed on this weekend. Oh well, I will just have to keep trying. Maybe I am thinking too much into this.

Night everyone.

No, I'm not enjoying this. I'm a bit disappointed in the ending. I was really hoping for two gold stars. This was a very easy challenge or so I thought. I am proud of the fact that you actually went out to Farmer's Market last week and actually introduced yourself to some strangers. I was begging to think that you would have finished your task shortly after. I am sorry you did not.

I was very much the hypocrite for a long time. I always said that if you put your mind to something, you can accomplish anything. I did that with various projects over the years. The guitar project was a challenge to myself. Another one that took 20 years to fulfill, yet the whole time I told people that they could do anything - ask David - I was myself, hiding from the one challenge in my life that I thought I could not achieve. I did that a week ago. Now I can truly say, that if you put your mind to something, you can accomplish anything!

Max, stop asking questions, stop making excuses, stop trying to figure out the right person for yourself without even trying, and just go out there and do it! You can. :) There is no try, just do.

Not that the official challenge time period really mattered to me.

That is a cop out. You agreed to this challenge.

OK, that will give me more motivation.

I would much rather take the PPL test, though. :)

Morning Y'all. Dayum munday comes rather fast in these parts. I had some fun yesterday helping sort out the electrical on Roberts 72 Volvo 164E

Geronimo '74 05-07-2012 01:25 AM

Morning!
I hate Mondays too, Rick.

Rick V 05-07-2012 01:30 AM

DEWD!!!!!!!
You are alive

slodave 05-07-2012 01:37 AM

Hmm, cell to cell from here to Como, Italy was like talking on an old walkie.

Rick V 05-07-2012 01:42 AM

Must be sun spots or something. I talked to Maryland yesterday and NOVA and both were the same way

slodave 05-07-2012 01:52 AM

Thanks for the squirrel pic. ;)

Rick V 05-07-2012 01:56 AM

Right back atcha.

Rick V 05-07-2012 02:02 AM

There is a family of them living in the big maple tree in the front yard. I like watching them and the babies seem to be getting used to being around people

slodave 05-07-2012 02:04 AM

I think they are cute. I wouldn't mind raising one. I do mind them eating my food. This little experiment of mine costs more than it produces and it's not producing anything, thanks to the damn squirrels. :D

Rick V 05-07-2012 02:05 AM

They are rather destructive, and their main reason for being seems to be for eating. But they are fun to watch.

slodave 05-07-2012 02:07 AM

Two of them having a go in a tree is awesome. I wish I could run around like that, not much fear of falling.

Hi guys. Made it back East. Gonna be dragging today. :(

Dave, congrats again on pushing yourself to take / pass the pilot's exam.

Rick V 05-07-2012 03:06 AM

Welcome back Jim. We ordered up some humidity for ya

Jim Richards 05-07-2012 03:09 AM

Thanks Rick, I noticed. As one of the guys here (Seahawk?) says, it's air you can wear.
