Oh joy.
Morning Rick. |
Morning Jim.
I am trying to look on the bright side, at least I will have a clean garage floor |
That's the spirit! :D:D:D
|
Yeah but it ain't working. I detest plumbing, that is why I got out of that trade and went into auto. Can't you tell by my rosie disposition that is was a good career move.
|
You'd be great at working in customer service. :D
|
Either that or waterboarding bad guys for the CIA. :D

Hey Rick, plumbing is easy.
I am sure you know the rules of plumbing. Payday is Friday Crap flows downhill, NEVER lick your fingers, or bite your fingernails! |
Good morning folks.
Another busy day around here. |
morning all. off to work soon.

My old water heater lasted 31years. Just couldn't bring myself to install one of the cheap ones from the home improvement places. And because the plumbing, placement, and venting no longer met code, I just called a good plumber and had a good one installed. The brand is AO Smith, rated highest in consumer reports.
My brother pointed out that I could have just done it myself (he would help) and I wouldn't have had to worry about all that code stuff. The only problem is that when he helps me do stuff like that it usually ends up being a fiasco that costs and takes 3 or 4 times what it should. Now mine sits on a pan plumbed to the drain so if it starts leaking it does not wash the garage floor. |

I hope you get to experience that again from the inside the car soon.

Morning Max and everybody else... So tired. Can't wait until this weekend. Been living off coffee.
Sorry to hear about the water heater, Rick. Shall all you fellows experience happiness and luck the rest of the week. Never underestimate the power of Tweeze. :) |
It is starting to soak in on my brain that is two months I will be in UT.
I have several projects to do to my 911 before I am ready. I want to change the transmission fluid, replace the starter, replace the two little short hoses to the oil cooler and replace the rubber gasket seal around the cooler, replace the brake fluid, and replace the brake light switches. I also need to do a full clay bar, HD clense & Zymol wax job. I am sure I will find a few other things to tweak before the trip. Oh yea, I need to get the new tires mounted and balanced. I will do one more autocross on the old tires first. Might as well eat up as much rubber as I can on the old ones. |
