Naw that is just how she sleeps from time to time. She will lay on the back of the couch and put her paw on my shoulder like that.
Good thing I am the one person she doesn't want to kill. Panzer hates every body and every thing but me.

The leaf on the paper is there so that the camera would focus. I could not get the manual focus dialed in either. It is not an SLR.

Then I noticed that nature was providing a bunch of pin-hole lenses too.

You are welcome, Alarick. Looks good. Make sure the edges are beveled.

Not a bad idea, and something I considered while putting in the screws. You know, she's never scratched that high before. Just around the doorknob was as high as she's gone. But if she's got a top edge to work on, maybe she'll try to rip out the sheet.

I took some sandpaper to the edges. Should that be enough? Or do I have to use a light grinder on it?

In the meantime, I worked on the fan housing after dinner. On the coffee table, no less. Still can't get that blasted alternator out of the fan housing. Sounds like I might just drop off the whole shebang at TRE and let them work it out. Reminds me of one of those chop shop/tuner shows on TV. They took some 944 and set out to trick it out. The guy commented that unlike the stuff he was used to working on, the Porsche was so well put together that even after he took off all the bolts it was still hard to get parts off the chassis.

Just make sure the edges are not sharp and rounded over.

I told you to leave the alternator in the an housing and let TRE deal with it . It's a *****.

I know. I know. But when you've got a lump of parts sitting by the door and the kids are off to bed, it's hard to resist the temptation of complete disassembly.

You need to put the housing up on a wood blocks, and with a wood mallet(*) pound on the alternator shaft. Make sure something soft is under the alternator when it pops out. Putting it back in is no fun either. Let TRE deal with it.

* A block of wood - like a 2x4, between the shaft and a metal hammer works as well.
