Looking forward to the trip as we tried to do it last year and got turned back (something about a grand daughter wanting to come into the world). Set a departure date and rough route last night over a bottle of wine.

Track across is open at the moment, and if it doesn't rain too much in the next 6 weeks it should still be okay. Tracks north of Birdsville (other side of the desert to alice springs) are closed at the moment, but hopefully they'll be open by then. Otherwise, it'll get real interesting ;)

I had to go wade into parf to see what he did. It is just a two week trip to ban island.

Now I need some new shoes, I got some parf on my them.
