Hope you liked the Landshark Lager. My mom bought that for me upon my impending arrival to Aspen one year. That stuff was horrible.

Fireworks detonations have started here already and we have another week to go before it's 'Territory Day' (1st July).

We can still buy fireworks to celebrate but they only go on sale from the day before. People store them up from previous years and there's fireworks going off every night for about a month after. We have the same problem here with spot fires resulting from fireworks.

Eventually the fun police will ban the sale to the public, as per the remainder of the country.

It wasn't bad... But it was uber cold on tap in a frosted glass after a long hot hard day...... Coors would have tasted good....

my first pub experience was in florida. i was 14. i ate a swordfish sandwich. it was some of the best food i've ever had. i can still remember the taste, sound, smells, everything. then, snorkeling half a mile out and diving for conchs.

i envy you, sid. that food cannot be had where i live. enjoy.

Oh I know about living in a place with terrible excuses for seafood. I rarely eat it at home, and even more rarely do I enjoy it there... This has all been excellent. Luckily I get a decent per diem, so I'm not going broke eating at these good places.

Hey Sid, go back to that Irish Pub and yell "pòg mo thòn" (pronounced 'pog ma hone'), and see what happens ;)

nynor 06-23-2012 09:05 PM

if i want decent seafood, i cook it myself. no one here knows how to cook the stuff properly.

anyhow.... it is time for d. to go to bed.

good night.

Yeah, that can happen but a lot of them around here are caused by harvesting bush tucker.

slodave 06-23-2012 09:18 PM

I hate it when fire breaks out while harvesting bush tucker.

vas930 06-23-2012 09:24 PM

wait till you try the bush tucker !

vas930 06-23-2012 09:25 PM

Very tuff to eat. :(

Outback Porsche 06-23-2012 09:28 PM

Although it's very fattening. Emu Liver Pâté is my favorite. Not quite traditional bush tucker but pretty good.

vas930 06-23-2012 09:29 PM

hehehe :D

No thanks, Jeff.
