Both guitar and singer are Connor.

Well, he still sings a lot better than me. :D

Porsche-poor 08-05-2012 05:18 PM

he would be happy to play for a band with a good singer (the reason he quit the last one) but this year the summer band camp is short singers so he is doing double duty. The owner of the place we were at today said he couldn't believe how much old soul Connor has in his music.

Just had an interesting conversation with my mom on the phone. I made the mistake mentioning that I liked philosophy class. She asked something like why/how so? and I said that it discusses deep questions about how we know what we know, etc. Then she said something like I hope it is not leading you to thinking that there is a God and I stalled and she rephrased it to I hope it is not leading you to being an atheist and it wasn't. It's not a lie since I just question but have not made the conclusion either way yet. But she hit me with the "You know that is my biggest worry" or something like that. :(

I got out of it by changing the subject to the FSAE car. :)

David, the two videos on facebook are the same. Did you mean to upload two different videos?

Porsche-poor 08-05-2012 07:19 PM

Flieger 08-05-2012 10:06 PM

I was looking at your facebook. I am not facebook friends with your wife. (I am sure Rick can have a fun time with that statement).

Flieger 08-05-2012 10:07 PM

I just sent her a friend request.

Porsche-poor 08-05-2012 10:11 PM

Rick is not either. They are on the wall as shared.

Flieger 08-05-2012 10:17 PM

When I go to your facebook I see two videos 3:39 long called "Cover by Fistfull of Money".

Flieger 08-05-2012 10:18 PM

OK, she just accepted and I can see the videos on her page. I will watch them after the Mars landing.

Flieger 08-05-2012 10:27 PM

The rover made it! :)

Geronimo '74 08-05-2012 10:35 PM

Morning guys!!

Can one of you pm me your address?
I bought centercaps but the seller does not want to send internationally.
if i can have them sent to one of you guys and then you send it to me (i'll pay for it of course), that would be great!

Noah930 08-05-2012 10:36 PM

Out of curiosity (no pun intended), why was this landing so much more difficult/anticipated compared to the two rovers (Spirit/Opportunity) sent there 2 or 3 years ago?

Well, this time it was not airbags -- they had the whole "sky crane" thing. The rover is also much bigger as I understand. But landing on Mars should never be taken too lightly.
