I left my house and it was still hovering near 100*. I threw a pair of military pants in the car as well as a jacket. I went from 800' to 8,000'. I finally put my jacket on around midnight, but mostly because it had been drizzling on and off and I pulled it out of my car to cover my camera. It was really nice to be in "colder" weather.
My cousin emailed the other day to suggest that I bring a pullover when I go to Europe next month. I wrote back and told him it's been in the triple digits and I am looking forward to cold, rainy weather! :D |

Tonights astronomy theme got me doing a bit of interwebs research - found this bit of Oz history Island Lagoon I've passed this site many times, and even lived about 20km from it for a few years. On one of our trips south a few years ago, we drove down to the old site and had a poke around. Anyway, I'm off to find my warm bed. Hooroo |
Night Jeff. (dutch oven time huh?)

It is a beautifully sunny day here today. Too bad I am going to spend a chunk of it on the tractor

We has another sprinkle last night. Just a trace of rain but it is better than nothing. It is still cool and cloudy. Time to go mow the yard for the last time in a while. I have a guy set up to mow it for the next few weeks.

Off to the show. See everyone later.

Tell Conner to let it all hang out

My grass is cut as well.

Well Glen you could have offered to do mine, and I don't want to hear any of that time and distance crap
|
OK, well I guess this is why I am an ME...
When the FSAE car stopped working I had thought briefly about the "low voltage" battery being dead, but we only ran for 5-10 minutes intermittently and it was 13.6V when we started. I figured 13.6V was close enough to charged for a 12V battery. Well, that voltage was just barely enough for the low voltage battery. It became too low after running. I charged it fully today (2+hours) and it went up to around 14.5V. Car works now. |
