Although this one was probably the biggest I'd ever seen at around 2m. Definitely wouldn't let young kids swim near it. Beautiful place (Lawn Hill NP) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1350436012.jpg All I got close to were these little fellas http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1350436044.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1350436057.jpg |

Apparently, we experienced an 1.6 earthquake locally in 2010 - can't remember it. The only local quake for the last 100 years. |

Night Dave.
Thanks Jim but it brings me no pleasure to make a post like that, and I have been thinking about it for two days. |
I added the word "abominable" because it was the perfect fit for the occasion.

Good Hump day morning folks.

Mrs. Carrera is taking us both in for a heart scan this afternoon. The way I see it is a local hospital spent a fortune on a piece of scanning equipment but no one wants to spend the money to pay for the service, so to get some use they set up almost free scanning.
A friend of mine and his wife went in and did it and the results came back as grim. They told him to call his family together because he was likely to die of a heart attack any second. He was feeling fine but he spent a lot of money with his regular Dr and had a ton of expensive test. The results was the heart scan saw scar tissue from some former surgery and he was fine. Hopefully they have the thing calibrated by now. |
Morning all.
