My Internet and cable are down. :(. Luckily I can check the web on my phone to see that I have to go to class today. This sounds like a very bad idea. It's still a freaking skating rink out there.

Man up little boy. :)

Back home for lunch... Studying for a BIO test... Got internet now... Those idiot scraped all the snow off the parking lots so now there is only ice with a little sand on it... good luck walking on that ****... I just went to the nearest snow and started moving....

Let me get this straight, you could get out to go eat and go to the movies and so on. But it is too slippery to go to class. Hmmm. Interesting.

Our pilot went to the hangar yesterday to check on the airplane. The hangar doors are a covered in a solid sheet of 1/2 thick ice. The ramp is all covered in ice & snow. The ice starts to melt off of the sloped hangar roof and doors and comes down in huge sheets that stick into the ground. That ice could do some real damage to your head. He could not even get in the hangar. Not that it matters we have a 300 foot ceiling and freezing conditions. Not good flying weather.

the roads that have been left alone are fine... they used box blades to scrape the snow on campus and exposed the ICE... So now instead of having snow to grip your feet have nothing....

morning y'all
today i get to work from home

Geronimo '74 02-01-2010 10:17 PM

Morning y'all
Stijn gets to work from home, let's start hating him a little bit.... :p

How does this sound:
Hot wire kit
bored out TB
competition springs, titanium retainers
993SS cams
SSI's, dual inlet dual outlet muffler.

(Stijn is gonna says that it sounds like I'm throwing away money on mods I don't need.... well DUH!) :D:D

svandamme 02-01-2010 10:25 PM

your springs and retainers serve no purpose since you won't be revving your engine...
boring out the TB... negligable.

Hot wire kit... negligable but ok i suppose

so that leaves you the SSI and cams...

slodave 02-01-2010 10:28 PM

Touché

Geronimo '74 02-01-2010 10:29 PM

Springs and retainers also protect from mis-shifts.... (and who says I'm not revving it?? I rev it all the time... :D:D)
And since it is good renew them in a rebuilt, why not pay a little more and get upgraded stuff)

Hot wire kit I already have, TB is just for fun, cheap too

svandamme 02-01-2010 10:45 PM

the Ti retainers won't protect you one bit from a real miss shift (for instance going up from 4 to 3 @ wot instead of 5)since those will take em well north of 8K. At which point you'll have serious issues with your rods and pistons...Arp bolts and Ti retainers won't save your long stroke at high revs... no sir.

my 73S was fine with regular springs, and it had a redline of 7300...

Seriously. Waste . off . money.

livi 02-02-2010 12:02 AM

Morning, boys.

Too bad Rick. Maybe Stijn or Dave are interested. Its good money.

slodave 02-02-2010 12:05 AM

Um, yeah, going to have to pass on the fluffing, Markus...

livi 02-02-2010 12:13 AM

Thanks for considering though, Dave! :D

Rick V 02-02-2010 01:13 AM
