With my other dog all i had to do was raise my voice and she snapped to. She was SMART!

I would grumble and complain when cleaning up the few messes she made before being house broken. That set the tone for her recognizing when I was unhappy.

D, as you know it is vital that all dogs understand they are not equals, all humans are boss. My MIL had an slightly aggressive dog that made the wrong move with her lip and snarled at me. I put her on her back and used a very aggressive voice and just stared her down and held her upside down until she relaxed. After that when we went to visit over there I had to greet that dog in the kitchen where the tile floor was she would dribble a little pee every time. She did not do that for anyone else. She fully understood who was alpha.
