Good evening guys.
Dave NEEDS a snowball upside the head. Just my opinion. :) |
I tried Glen.
|
i took jezebel out for a ride. i think i got the front tire off the ground just a little.
|
I got the driveway cleared enough to get the Boxster out, I think I am gonna put her back in daily service starting wed, or at least split duty with Peggy
|
The boxster will not fair as well as Peggy against a deer. Watch out!
|
Nope but she can go under them. :)
|
Been there, done that in my 911. The windshield tends to be the big looser. The front hood get all wrinkled up and needs a replacement.
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1266197110.jpg I had the fun of driving through LA traffic at 5:00 PM with that windshield. I made it to San Diego and got a new windshield before driving home to Oklahoma. Darn California deer. |
w00t, snow!
|
Morning
|
Morning Rick... :)
I'll spare you the weather report.. :p |
Morning Dave
I'll spare you the instructions for the what, where and how to kiss. :) |
totally put some douchebag in a Ferrari in his place...
3 lane HW... left lane snowed over right and middle lane cleared with salt.. low traffic, F dork drives the middle lane, doing 95km/h , nothing in the right lane I put my left indicator on, and flash him to move the Eff over to the right. he does not. So i drop down to third, floor the pedal in Bimforce 1... and go right... which must have hurt his Ferrari Scaglietti's heart... and he accelerates to prevent me going past him... so now he's by truck... i get behind F nut again... and went past him through the snow instead...douchenozzle didn't follow |
And you say I have anger issues.
hehehehehe |
i didn't ram my Bimmer in his Ferrari.
|
you should have rear ended him.
It would be your fault but the look on his face would be priceless. You could taunt him too, until the cops arrive. Yeah fukcface, I did it on purpose, should have let me pass, guess next time you'll move that POS Italian cokc extension when I flash you. And when the cops arrive, you blame it on him, yes officer, I was driving carefully, I got caught by surprise by his sudden and un-necessary braking because he was tailgating the truck in front of him, sir... I can understand why he would blame me, officer, his car probably isn't a company car, mine is. But it was really by accident, sir, I would never hit another car on purpose... (Make innocent face while explaining) |
that's silly, i'de end up paying 1000 euro personal liabilty forfait for the damage to Bimforce 1 and the Furahri...
i'de be better to get in front, then brake check him into rear ending my...that would be on him, not on me |
Company car and YOU have to pay liability???????
If that is the case, get in front of him, cut him off, apply mucho brako. Tell the cops he had been tailgating you all the way. (make innocent face) |
all company cars carry a personal risk, there have been to much problems with "don't care it's a company car" kind of crashes...
So if one is at fault, one pays the forfait, generally around 1000 euro's... The pull innocent face, i once did it with great success.. empty A19... Opel Kadett on the left lane doign 120... i come a zooming by at 160 or so.... and flew past the Kadett on the right.... couple of km's futher, 2 trucks over taking.... you know, one doing 90, the other doign 91 So i hang behind theeft one... and Kadett boy comes right past me... and tries to bluff me into breaking and letting him cut in... he's looking in his mirror , creeps up to the left.. I'm in a brand new Golf IV, he thinks i'll back out to save my new car... couldn't be bothered, he came closer, contact, i gently nudge my steering wheel to the right, he slams on the brake... my Hokkenheim R16 wheel did a Ben Hur shred job to his left side, rustbucket Kadett... so i pull over to take notes for the insurance, he threatens to beat me up. So i say, whatever floats your boat buddy, i got kicked in the face by a horse at age 10... i can take a hit from a jackass at age 23.. no big deal, you'll just pay me more money afterwards.... he then buggered off, and called the cops sayign a fled the scene.. which was fun, as i was on site, calling the cops, that he fled the scene... in the end he told the cops a bs story that didn't match the damage to either car, and he got in trouble over it... :D The Golf hardly had more then a little scratch on the wheels |
Stijn, the driving situation seems uniquely European in that story.
The aftermath, however, seems universal. |
Great story, Stijn. And no, I'm not paying 250 euros for it... :p
