Amazon blows

porsche4life 02-23-2013 03:44 PM

Why do you say that Rick? I quite love amazon

Rick V 02-23-2013 04:00 PM

I placed an order for a couple of items that are listed as in stock, when I got to the last screen the shipping information states the stuff won't ship until the 28th.
This is not the first time I have had this happen, but I am very sure it is the last time

RKDinOKC 02-23-2013 04:51 PM

Have similar problem ordering vitamins. When it takes them over a week to put it in a box and ship it, why bother with next of 2nd day.

Just finished running Ragnar. Going to take a shower and sleep for about 20 years.

Rick V 02-23-2013 06:42 PM

naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I look older than 50! Don't see a problem with only looking older than 30!! Back in the day, I worried about it, but now I just don't give a 5hit! I apparently don't have good "generics"!! lol

Evening all, went up to DC yesterday with the friend from Oz, it was sleeting and snowed a few times, was very bluddy cold, but we walked fast!!! and kept warm.

Did the Mall, the major monuments and memorials, the Air and Space Museum, and a bit of the Natural History Museum, was a good day. Parked at Branch Avenue Metro Station, it was great, plenty of parking available after 10am as there is a reserved section of the parking that is only for cars after 10am, about 15 minutes by metro to the Mall, so easy to get into the city, parking for the day was 4.50, sweeeeet.

A plug in musket?

HHI944 02-23-2013 07:16 PM

Yup, straight out of 1862

It's an 1861 pattern made in 62 by colt. Minor surface issues, no real pitting, action is functioning nicely...breech plugged with god knows what

I don't much care for black wheels... But those can be changed... Its got the important bits...

X50! As clarkson would say.... POWERRRRR!

RKDinOKC 02-23-2013 08:12 PM

Interesting they are asking 38K and Haggerty values my car at 42K.

X50 is a must have.

porsche4life 02-23-2013 08:12 PM

They are still on the downward trend, whereas the GTS is back on the upswing....

RKDinOKC 02-23-2013 08:32 PM

Dern it. Cant find the owner;s manual for the Range Rover. Think one of the repair shops I used lifted it. Wouldn't bother me, but it had the radio codes in it. Will have to replace the head until to have some tunes.

Rick V 02-24-2013 04:39 AM

Morning Y'all
Richard the radio code can be deleted. Contact the local electronics shop. Or you can get it through Rover

Jim Richards 02-24-2013 05:12 AM

Morning. It almost feels like Spring is right around the corner. I'm ready for it.
