We slept in, too. I adjust way too slowly to time zone changes.
Sorry about your prolonged winter, Pete. I hope it clears up soon. |
an oldie but a goody, this will be Steve and I in retirement keeping ourselves amused
Working people frequently ask retired people what They do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day, my Hubby and I Went into town and visited a shop. When we came out, there was a cop writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, 'Come on, How about giving a senior citizen a break?' He ignored us and continued writing the ticket. I called him an a---hole . He glared at me and started Writing another ticket for having worn-out tires. So Steve called him a d---head. He finished the Second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he started writing more tickets. This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home. We weren't the slightest bit concerned about the vehicle's owner because of the sticker on the back window saying "Support the Anti-Gun Lobby". We try to have a little fun each day now that we're retired. It's important at our age. so funny, that will be us in a few years!!!! |
Omg crisp as a picket

OK, maybe it's time to start up some yoga.
Mrs. Noah is on the phone with a friend back east. She's describing her pre-natal yoga class to her friend, and why she's so happy with it because the other women in it are, um, bigger, like she. (Mrs. Noah is starting to show.) She went on to describe to her friend how this yoga class is totally unlike the other yoga classes with which she's familiar here in LA, because those other yoga classes are populated by nearly nekkid women who are models and actresses and are about 5'8" and 108 lbs. Joe/DaveM/Sid/Max/Mike, take note. LA yoga class = target rich environment. |

Don't like yoga, those stretchy pants make my junk feel funny.

Well that was a total bust. A guy who works with my son decided he would help out and disassembled the boys transmission before I got there, he also decided to F-up a few bearings. So instead of driving the car away from the shop we pushed it out and parts will be ordered monday. I went several shades of slam off on that guy.

exercise when you get older too. We always have at least a couple of men in the class. BTW, Richard, none wear tight yoga pants. They wear baggy shorts. ;) |
What's so hard about wearing yoga pants? And I'm banking on the ladies in SoCal making the wearing of yoga pants look good. :D

Was trying to be funny with the stretchy pants reference. Maybe i should have said they make me want to join a parade.
Actually planning to use Yoga to help rehab from the foot thing. Lost a lot of range of motion laying around with my foot elevated for almost a year. |

David, the cream of the crop of 80's 928 is the 89 GT. 15K is good price for one in good condition with all the maintenance kept up.
|
We're getting mid 70's here tomorrow... I get to have fun power washing the house.
