For the week.
I would just let her take Beths car if she needed it but the Boxster ign switch is awating the parts to fix it, so we can't have it in town and left with the key in it, and Beth is not going to drive Peggy in town for a week. Town should be thankful for that one.

a few of the ladies at last nights party.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1368372389.jpg

So much flouro, almost blinding!!

GH85Carrera 05-12-2013 07:33 AM

Morning folks. Happy mothers day to the mothers.

Rick & Tweze, I'd you need advice about the kids I am a world expert. I know everything about kids since I don't have any and never hang out with friends with little kids. I should write a book.

My co worker was telling me he thought he could use logic and reason with a child. He says that does not work for some reason.

azzarule 05-12-2013 07:35 AM

one thing that was funny is that so many of the ladies came in platforms and stilettos and they lasted about 30 minutes and then spent the rest of the night in bare feet, so at the start of the night I was amongst the shortest ladies, but not for long!

We had a John Bon Jovi, and a Gene Simmons, a set of Mario Bros, Professor and Marty from Back to the Future, two Michellan Men in big blow up suits (they were funny), a few Jedi knights, a couple of Don Johnsons, heaps of flouro gym junkies, was a good night

Great pic, Azzy! I'm having 80's flashbacks now! :D

well the tires are certainly making things interesting.

I think they should make it more about the skill of the drivers and less about the tire degredation. Although smart driving should also mean more about managing tire wear, but there is so much coming from the pits these days, the drivers are not in control of the racing and haven't been for a decade or more. Shame, its not just aobut talent these days, take them back to drive by wire type stuff, the driver and his talent I say.

I know the leaps of technology they have made over time do transend to the cars being made these days. But I still liked the F1 races of the 70s and early 80s, where it was more about the skill of the driver than the technology.

Well after a few hours driving around in circles in the yard, I may have to drive to Hancock Md.
Lanna can use a long drive so that wouldn't be to bad

pete3799 05-12-2013 10:04 AM

Just mowed for the first time today.
I'll bite.....what's in Hancock?

Rick V 05-12-2013 10:09 AM

Possibly the woman with the screwed up chevy that was supposed to be driving down here today. If she can get someone to drive her halfway........................

Flieger 05-12-2013 10:28 AM

Happy Mothers Day to all the moms out there. Rick, too. :)

Noah930 05-12-2013 10:41 AM

OK, was this a bad thing to do on Mother's Day? I just squashed a brown widow and her brood of about 288 baby spiders.

I snipped off a cutting from one of my plants/succulents (to transplant in my parents' house). As I looked down, I noticed a crazy web amongst the branches. A widow web. Looking closer, I noticed a fuzzy ball of tiny moving dots. Oorg, is that what I think it is? A freshly hatched egg sac? So I turned the branch over and spotted a small brown widow. I used a trowel to shoo her from the cutting (it was too nice of a cutting just to toss in the trash--and no way I was going to transport it in my car with all those little hitchhikers) and promptly squashed her. Then I squished all the babies, too.

Noah! You cruel cruel cruel man!

I would have done the same. ;)

And thanks, Max. What did you do for your mother?

Noah930 05-12-2013 10:46 AM

Yeah, last year it was all black widows. My front yard was infested. This year I've noticed the browns introducing themselves. Maybe 25:75 brown:black.

tweezers74 05-12-2013 10:58 AM

Ewwwwwww! I can kill spiders, even scorpions by myself but anything that flies or jumps, I wish I had a man for that.
