That was our thinking, Rick. I will however kill them if I'm a grandparent at 42.

Jferr006 05-24-2013 03:48 PM

Well, the 944 will not be done by the mountain trip. We'll be taking the sonic. The motor is ready but, by the time the kit gets here we won't have time
To send her to paint.

Man! I am an old mama compared to all of you young grandparents! I am turning 39 tomorrow and my youngest is 5.

And thanks, Jeff. Your pic of your granddaughter made me smile. What a lovely picture of her. Love the curls. I love looking at pics of girls because then I kinda want one. But then I remember I wouldn't know what to do with one. ;)

Ok, this is how old I am... Correction. Sunday is the day of birth. ;)

Deuce is almost 9. We found a lump. We're both in tears. Best, coolest, dog ever.

azzarule 05-24-2013 05:22 PM

Happy birthday Tweeze, you don't look a day over 25, lucky beetch!!

azzarule 05-24-2013 05:24 PM

Don't worry Janet, its probably nothing, and even if it is something, its probably nothing, the boxer, staffys, pit bull types crosses, are very very prone to fatty tissue lumps and fluidy lumps, that are nothing to worry about.

azzarule 05-24-2013 05:26 PM

I saw a Doberman a couple of weeks ago, it had large lumps all over it, the owner said that it wasn't anything bad, they were fatty lumps, dobermans don't apparently get fat really, there depositing of body fat metabolism is not very well functioning apparently, so the vet said they get these fatty lumpy bumps under the skin, looked weird though.

and then there is always the possibility that if you have a cat, it could be an abscess if the two have been playing hard, and the car has bitten or scratched Deuce.

Jferr006 05-24-2013 05:37 PM

No cats, we knew he only had 10 good years when we got him before we got married. We just know we'll never have another dog as awesome as him.

About time for bed. Gotta get rested up for the wild crazy three day party. Mow the yard, play in the garage, tinker in the garage, work in the garage, and maybe watch TV.

Janet, have you taken him to the vet yet? Sometimes lumps are benign. Check him out first.

Your weekend sounds about as crazy as mine. Golf with my boys tomorrow and hanging out at the pool. Another pool party/crab boil on Sunday at a friend's house. And maybe birthday creme brulee made by my friend if he gets back from a camping trip on time. :) His birthday is tomorrow. We told each other we would celebrate together. But the !@$%& is younger than me. 34... Shoot. I am old! But I can stil hang with the yougins. ;)

tweezers74 05-24-2013 07:33 PM

Thanks everybody for the birthday wishes. I wanted to do something "big" for it, like a party or something but haven't had the time to plan it. Maybe a trip. Any ideas? The really cool stuff will be saved for next year. The big 40!!! Woo hoo! So stoked. I want to celebrate in a big way!

HHI944 05-24-2013 07:52 PM

Happy birthday Tweeze!!!!
