BTW Sidney, if you are using a 30W Radio Shack type iron... You might as well give up. Your best chance, is a good heavy duty iron, like a Weller.

Morning felllas.
we are finally ready for a little boat ride. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1269072881.jpg http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1269072918.jpg She's a low, mean, euro road machine! well, pretty mean for being baby blue:p |
Hey Sid-
If I land this job in California this summer- if and only if- I'm going to be looking to offload my track car project quicker than I originally had planned. I'd let you have it for el cheapo if you could trailer it from where I have it stored. Just a heads up :) |
nice!
I on the other hand, got trouble with Boris... again. one minute he's fine, the next he starts hollering , licking his shoulder, and scratching it... and while he scratches, he screams more... Starting to think, he's getting infected to much, from catching and eating all sorts of vermin around the house...Going to the Vet at 1 and get him a good dose of antiworm, anti parasite anti whatever |
Aww man. Sorry to hear that, Stijn. I hope it's nothing major. :(
|
went to the market, came back, Boris fine again.
But he has some kind of puss in that area. Like last time, with his chin wound, it's probably some kind of abcess that popped. So it probably was an itch he couldn't stop scratching till it popped, and it was painfull when he scratched it.. temporarily drove him nuts The question is, why does he have those things all the time? Bubba spends just as much time outdoors, he never has anything like that. So i can't help but think, it's because Boris kills so many rodents.. and he eats em up head to toe. I'll talk to the vet, see what he thinks about it.. i know i can't stop Boris from killing and eating mice.. But perhaps the Vet can give Boris some kind of inoculation for parasites or whatnot.. Probably good to have him de-wormed a couple of times a year anyway, with the rodent eating and all. Brought home a roasted chicken from the market, now i got them both sitting around, licking their lips... probably feels the same if your in Africa, with lions around... |
Morning folks

Boris going nuts again, starting to think he's got some kind of skin parasite
Vet at 13h00... |

Jeff, you're car looks great man!! I wish mine was a turbo...
Stigeon, hope Boris is ok, keep us posted. |
Now it makes sense..
that long fur i had found, and the abces. 2 bite marks, about half a cm apart. Mice or rats don't bite that way, nor do they have long hair. But a Ferret, does have all those things. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...orius_furo.jpg And a bite from a Ferret, would most likely introduce bacteria that Boris had not yet encountered before while fighting with other cats, or killing mice... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...uffy_teeth.jpg Boris is mental, to go after ferrets...they are viscous little buggers in their own right. |
